Well, it's almost time to prepare for another world war. I want some debate about whether it will, or will not happen, and if it will, when. I personally think, with the war were in, and Obama, most likely going to pull our troops, we are totally vulnerable to many countries that want to attack America. I know some may not agree, but I think with all the chaos that's breaking around the world, were in for some type of fight... so what I am asking is, what do you think?. Please no getting offended, with any arguments that aren't what you agree with. And if any racist comments get out here, I'll ask for this thread to be locked or removed.
I agree any one of these countries listed has the power to end the world. I don't think anything will happen soon but eventually I think it will be China Iran or North Korea that will cause something.
The only countries that can probably end the world single handedly are the US and Russia. It is unlikely that they would end the world right now but no one knows the future. Those two countries have enough missiles to annihilate mankind. One, two, even thirty nukes are bad indeed but, they aren't enough to destroy the entire world.
Iran - It is not known if Iran is making nukes. They have the necessary things needed to use nuclear energy to provide electricity or making nukes. It is unlikely that they are making nukes.
North Korea - This country is the most likely out of the three you suggested to launch a nuke. They have already tested missiles, they are planning to test more and other countries are on alert and pressuring North Korea to end it's nuclear program. I don't know if they are going to end it, probably not.
China - China has many nukes but they don't seem to be in any state of hostility with other countries. What makes them more likely to declare war than other countries?
Russia and the U.S. have been in conflict since the Space Race. If there is a WWIII, it would be between them. Russia has a poor economy, that doesn't really care about their people. They say thy're trying to make a democracy, but the Russians have been ruled for so long that they don't know how to do anything. (kinda like the U.S.) In my opinion there's not going to be a WWIII anytime soon, because Russia needs time to stable their economy. (Russia probably doesn't think about that stuff as much as us Americans.)

Russia and the U.S. have not had the best relations because of the Cold War, but war is not looming on the horizon. The US vs. Russia is probably the most probable WWIII scenario. Russia does have a troubled economy and I do also agree that Russia would not declare even consider war until their economy is restored. How long that will take is unknown. I also think of the same when you said that Russians probably don't panic and worry over the economy as much as Americans do. That is true since mostly Americans are the ones rambling on about their economical problem.
It would seem to me that currently the worlds economic crisis can either both prevent or spark war. iIn the way of preventing war countries are trying to stabalize their economies, and because of that are too busy to make war, but sadly this is just too much wishful thinking. The smatest thing for any one country to do is attack another when faced with a crisis to deliver the knockout blow. If WWIII happens it woould most likley happen within the next 8 to 10 years. With Obama currently in office it would make sense for some type of skirmish to take place to test him as Biden so predicted.

Even if Obama will fight some kind of war, WWIII is not likely to occur within the time frame you specified. It will more likely occur in the near future, a few decades from now probably or it can never occur.
