sure you don't think a 500million dollar airplane isn't a lot of money,

yea, 500 million isnt a lot of money to the US, considering that the country is trillions of dollars in debt.

if wars happen its not good for the economy unless your America stealing oil

oil isnt to blame for bad economy, we have lots of oil, more oil than ever before. the problem is the oil companies.

listen why would you say flag because someone disagrees with you

he didnt, he accidently had the flag icon in the box when he copied. if you paste it, it shows up like: Flag

WWII got the United States out of the Great Depression. The Cold War was very good for the U.S. economy for 30 years. Wars can be very good for economies. They put people to work, and a great many different sectors must work alongside one another to further the war effort.

Wars also have a downside, particularly in democracies. People in democratic societies tend to have a low tolerance for long drawn-out wars; where the objectives are not clear, and decisive (i.e. Vietnam, Gulf War II). This is especially true when servicemen and women start coming home in bags, or coming home missing parts of their bodies, and there isn't a clear understanding of what we're doing, or why we are there.

In communism, yes unless the machines being made are unreliable due to human incompitance. In our counrty, yes and no, because companys would see a lot of profit and jobs being made thus making the economy stronger, however the government is spending their money on warfare rather than on somthing that would help our every day living.

this varies with different wars. WWII was good for the economy because we manufactured arms for our allies and they paid us money. obviously this iraq war is screwing up our economy because we are spending billions of dollars a day. i am not saying the war is wrong, just that it is costing us too much.

Most european nations were severely handicapped after WW2 economically. Even America was in a bad way, the need for civilian money to pay for the war through government bonds was practically the only way the americans could keep going.

War can help but it depends on it's size and if people agree with it, if it's large and people agree with it it will help more i.e. more jobs. But if it's not it hurts becasue to much moneys being spent while to few jobs are created. But in modern days i would say any wars will hurt are economy because the average american wouldn't be able to build our war engines.

do you understand how economy works? go read a book. we use the money to pay for things for the war, which means the factories make money, and supplies and materials for the army.

Most of the factories that create much of the modern equipment for the military would use capital intensive mechanised/computerised production lines as they are more efficient, so most normal people wouldnt be able to benefit from it.

Big wars help our economy like WW2, wars like iraq are terrible since we loose money overtime.
