This one ought to have some good debating going on. As we all know United States forces as well as others are in Iraq fighting the war on terror. Barrack Obama will pull the troops out in his presidency. I ask you should they stay in Iraq or be pulled out?
Well as far as I understand it his latest idea was slowly pulling some out so they will be home by ummm i forget the date. But the thing is if things are not stabalized there by the time we start withdrawling then eveyrhting we have done over there is going to go to waste.

I know many soldiers over in Iraq and most of them say that we need to be there and that they are making a difference. When deciding on this factor you have to remember. The news media does not tell both sides of the story. It is very one sided. When was the last time you heard anything good going on in the war?
Last week a groupd of Navy Seals found 43 prisoners and realeased them back to their families after giving them food, water, and medical help.
Remember that its not as bad as people say it is. There are not soldiers killing the citizens or anything just for spite. They are helping them. If you want i can send you tons of pictures from the buddies I have over there.

In which army has there not been rapists and murderers? American soldiers have done good things, and they have done bad things, as all armies have done before. Or have you fallen into the media's "Vietnam trap"?
You realize that it is illegal - against the contract - for any soldier to talk negatively about the war or any military operation- right?
Where does it say in the contract? Where did you even find a text of a contract? Messages from soldiers are heavily censored to avoid giving away details that spies could access, but where's the clause that states its illegality?

Although, in one interview he said something like pulling 1/2 from Iraq and sticking them in Afghanistan. I partly disagree with. I definitely agree with the fact that Afghanistan needs more, but Iraq still needs some to. I think pulling more like a quarter would be more suitable.
Side Note: As of now, 11 of the 16 Iraqi provinces are under the Iraqis security force control.
If we pull to many to soon, everything we did will fall apart and we will have to start from the bottom again---with two countries. We need to finish what we started and then move onto the next problem.
