i think lotr bfme2 rise of the witch king is the best simply because red alert is childish and c&c3 kanes wrath quickly grates on you and i love making my own massive frog-like hilltroll hero
Lol I can tell you its not Age of War that games simple. I'd have to with Command and Conquer because if the difficulty is at its hardest, you have a lot of trouble knowing that you gotta spend your cash wisely or your enemy will destory your base. Also, (I am reffering to the Red Alert 2 game for this answer to best strategy game) you can use aircraft type vehicles if your an allied counrty to transport men or attack an enemie base. The Soviet-allied countries have nothing thats my favorite, except for one. The big blimp (I haven't played in about seven months so I forgot its name) is my favorite vehicle in the game because, nothing can destroy a fleet of these coming towards the base, unless the enemy has flak troopers. The whole game revolves around what your strategy is, if you like offence better then you might as well spend your money in tanks and such. If you favor defencive fighting, you can build walls and make an army; just enough to defend the base and not take on an enemy fortress. The maps make it so you can flank, air raid, and much more. The whole game is based upon your strategies to defeat your enemy. Thats my reason why C&C is the best strategy game.
