I wasn't sure weather to post this here or in the newcomer's forums...

I have always wondered, many people, possibly in an effort to increase their post count, often post one word comments for games, such as "cool", "boring", or "fun".

Are these comments considered spam, since they don't really contribute to the community, or notify players (or even creators) of how the game is?

Every single one word comment is potential spam. Even if someone asks you a yes/no question, you should always reply with more than one word... Of course, in conversations it hardly matters, but in games it just isn't constructive in any way...

- Do not post for the sake of points... your posts will be removed if we see you posting multiple 5-7 word posts just for points.

Ya it does suck when it is like that but it is the way it is. And one word comments is a spam and i think that this topic is getting spammy cause there is only one answer.

And you, my friend, have just posted a one word forum post. That is spam also. Try to keep everything you write over 4-7 words.

Yes it is, one word, doesn't completely answer the thing you say like
"I was thinking about a new layout for the site, What do you think?"

And if a person just says Okay or Hmm? Or even Eh.
Doesn't completely say why you like it or not, you have to give a reason,

Read the whole thread. Of course K is spam. It's not only one word, but it's not a whole one at that.
