For three years now, Family guy has been broadcasting a comedic show with the principle that insulting almost every ethnicity, gender, and religion is funny. Generaly, it is. I used to watch it every night, until they crossed the line. Peter made a joke that people with aids don't go to heaven. My cousin, who i was watching with, has fought with aids for 2.5 years. Am i overreacting, or was that completely uncalled for?

And Somers... you couldn't put all of that together into one post, and instead take up one entire reply for just three letters? Now THAT is pathetic. This may be discussing a comedy show, but this is also a debate whether or not Family Guy is offensive or not, so if you plan on posting here again, be mature about it... or at least try to be.
well you shouldn't stop watching it or anything because of that, it's just a cartoon, no need to take offense If it was anything that wasn't just a show, then anything you did would be fine....well not really but its still just a show, don't take offense
I like it but then once it came to my attention that each WHOLE episode was just basically joke after joke and not really much of a show i kinda started to think it was less funny and more annoying to watch

i think that once u see something offensive u should flip the channel for a minute and go back to it when u think its over... i always do that when they start something about religion.
It can only offend you if you choose to be offended. You flip the channels because you are close minded and are offended easily. I'm not trying to offend you, unless you want to be offended by this...
Family Guy isn't the greatest show out there, but sometimes its funny, but don't take offense with it. The writers are trying to be funny and not succeeding.
