For three years now, Family guy has been broadcasting a comedic show with the principle that insulting almost every ethnicity, gender, and religion is funny. Generaly, it is. I used to watch it every night, until they crossed the line. Peter made a joke that people with aids don't go to heaven. My cousin, who i was watching with, has fought with aids for 2.5 years. Am i overreacting, or was that completely uncalled for?
um ok... so you can laugh at everything else, but not the fact of one thing about aids... you are laughing at every single religion, race, ethnicality, but then because they make fun of aids you think they've crossed the line? thats very very hippocritical. To me your saying that o every race is funny, but aids isn't... And btw to everyone, they do make fun of christianity, and im a christian. I find it hillarious... I mean if you cant find things that are funny about yourself, and your race, and ethnicality.... your not secure about yourself. Like i understand aids ain't funny, and they do cross the line at times, but if ur gonna get ur panties in a bunch over one joke, im sry but u need to take a serious chill pill. Like i have a friend whos gay, and on one episode it had a sign saying everyone can join the army, except for homo's... And i asked him if he wanted to turn it off, and he didn't mind, he thought it was actually funny. Its meant to be humurous, it might be insulting but cmon, grow a pair and get over it...
