Moulin Rouge. It's amazing and original and incredibly funny. I've seen it over and over and I never get bored. You can see it in mute (but you would miss all of the incredible songs) and just admire the dresses and dances and scenery overall.
Also, Amelie. It's also original and funny, but even if it's incredibly charming, it's not as great as Moulin Rouge. Still one of my favorite movies, though.
Erm.. I also loved Crash, Kill Bill, Kiss, Kiss, Bang Bang, but nothing like the two above.
I personally love The Shawshank Redemption, the whole plot is great and the acting is phenomenal and they didn't get carried away and have 30 things happen at once.
I also enjoy The Dark Knight, great acting done by Heath Ledger, and it has Morgan Freeman just like Shawshank does, which makes the movie even better
Australia. It was perfect with its combination of War, Unique and exciting story line [A cattle drive? Who knew is could be so awesome] some romance thrown in with and adorable family. Not to mention the smexy rugged Hugh Jackman. Who couldn't love it.
