Yes, here it is. a topic about...that's right! Who can I sue?
Here in America [Where I live, don't know about other places] there are the most ridiculous cases ever.
Examples:
1.A person sues McDonald's for coffee being too hot.
2.Parents sues Nickelodeon because Nick advertises cereal products and the parents are scared their children will see it and want it.
3.People suing companies over..being fat.
4.A woman suing Victoria's Secret over, underwear.
Discussion Points:
1.Have you ever sued anyone? and if you want to tell what for?
2.Want to share some idiotic court cases you've heard about?
3. How do you feel about these lawsuits(that are crazy)

A man was driving his mobile home and put it on cruise control. He got up and went into the back to make some coffee. His mobile home flew off the road, crashed, and he was severely injured. He sued because the handbook for the mobile home did not say "cruise control" did not mean it automatically drove itself. He won.

Now that's crazy.

Ugh...A friend of mine's mother got into a car accident a long, long time ago, and she sued the lady who sideswiped her for damages to the car, and bodily harm. The lady ended up paying for her chiropractor bills for years, and when my friend's mom decides that her back still hurts, she takes the lady to court again to get more money.

I hate people who pull stop crap like any of this. Rember the lady who "found" a thumb in her Wendys chili. Rediculous.

Okay, your first case is definantly NOT frivolous. I've studied that case. You didn't mention that she received third degree burns from it. As for the other ones, yes, some people get a little carried away with law suits.

I think he's trying to say that the coffee shouldn't have normally been that hot. A third degree burn is pretty bad, and even a blister from a burn can be considered a second degree burn.

A man in michigan was in a car accident. Four years later he sued claiming that the accident actually changed his entire personality, causing him to leave his wife, move in with his parents, and begin hanging out in gay bars. He won and got $200,000. His wife got $25,000.

ok this is a ridiculous story. I've read news that a senator( not sure, could be a regular politician) sued god for things like disaster.Well you can try, but your dead if the judge is deeply religious.

I saw recently that eggs started carrying the label "Contains eggs". The company got alot of bad press because of it. But I don't think it is their fault. If they hadn't put on the warning and some who was allergic to eggs ate it they could sue and would most likly win.

The labels weren't on there before.
It was that lawsuit that made them put WARNING: HOT labels on anything hot.
