Well, the Romans did become Christian thanks to Constantine. Despite extending its lifespan, Rome just failed in the end.
Well what?
There would be less problems in the future, but subduing the Germans was a tall order. If the barbarians of northern Europe were conquered though, that would further prevent the existence of us in this state and do away with a lot of Western history.
Yes, a world without Christianity. I just hope if Rome fell without Christianity, something would arise to fill its gap. It served as a sort of unifying religion, which really helped.
I have to finish jacking this for a while. I have to step out for 30 mins. to and hour.

My great-great grandfather, Nicholas Troost, came off the boat from the Netherlands in some 19th century year as a child. His son served in the civil war, another one of his sons became Lambertus, who fought in WW1. His son fought in WW2. His son almost went to 'Nam. His son is aspiring to become a Navy SEAL. *wink wink*
European i know that for sure... i looked up my ancestry and found some interesting ppl. i was mainly interested though with relatives in the wars in the Boer war and the Great wars. but even more interesting was that my Grandmother's family are descendants of the royal bloodline of England... but they are not directly.
feh, records. So that means that can't trace your ancestors any farther back then their emigration, no?
Depends on what you mean by emigration. I would like to assume writing and written records such as those of births would have been prevalent enough for them to go back at least a few hundred years...
I should put my name in the hat and see what comes out.
