Caucasian, which is actually the term for 'white people' in American English.
Awesome! Well I was born in a kinda small town between Nairobi and Mombasa. You know Swahili?
I loved Mombasa we went every month or so. Unfortunately my knowledge ends at "jambo", I had just started learning it when we moved. My dad is fluent, and my mom knows a little bit.

Yeah, Mombasa is great! And I can speak fluent Swahili, but not write or read.

Thats ironic, haha. You know that the man that ruled Germany during WW2 was half Jewish?
For some reason Caucasian doesn't refer to the people of the Caucasus when used the way Americans use it. It refers to European whites. Eh, it was named after the people of the Caucasus because er, some dude thought of something and yada.. Well just read for yourself. Racial classifications, 18th/19th century scientists yeah.
The Caucasus is a region at the border of Europe and Asia home to the Caucasus Mountains and the countries of Armenia, Georgia and Azerbaijan. Around the place where Turkey and Russia meet.
Half Polish, the other half... mostly English. Who knows what else is in there on that side. Maybe some Irish, maybe some German, maybe some Iroquois, maybe some French. I suppose there could be some German and/or Russian on the Polish side, too, but we don't have records past my great-grandparents.
But I'm an American. With what is probably a very typical mix for somebody from the Great Lakes region. Irrelevant, but I can hold up a conversation in Russian or German for a while, though!
