Well I was thinking, since many people are complaining about how people don't know how to maneuver there way around this site I thought about a way to help newer members.
Help bubbles pop-up when you hover your mouse over a link (community, about, help, blog, submit etcc,.) and gives you a short but helpful description about where the link takes you, and what you do there.
Well I would say those don't match the site AT ALL, but it's just a rough draft eh? It's a good idea, although the description for the second could be smaller, we don't need half a Strop-paragraph plz O_O
It's a good idea, but I'm just wondering how that will work without a billion bubbles jumping in your way >_>
The idea would never work. First off how would they take it off for old users who know there way around the site. and secondly if you need help you can go to the help page
I think it should just be for the little tabs like Community and whatnot, because those could be confusing like News Blog, Store, Submit, and Contact =P
Well, maybe the help page should be an automatic bubble and catch there attention and a description:
"You may have noticed that when you hover your mouse over a link it gives you a bubble to help you manuver around the site, well, if you do not need it simply turn it off here"
Wait, who does not know there way around the site exactly? I hear people talking about how others are lost but never hear the lost people complain at all. It could just be me though.
Personally those would bug me to no end after a while. The thing is, most people already know how the tabs work. The people who don't are generally only inturested in the games anyway.

Normally you're lost for a bit and then you find your way, so there's no need to mention it once you actually get there =P
Well there could be two(or one) way to disable it... Way #1 Way #2
I would prefer the Control Panel one, but the disable-on-site is more convenient for older members I would think.
Or maybe it could be a one-time thing where after you log out after the first time, it disappears and you can enable it again if you just luv the bubblies ^^
But I also like the pop-ups and help bubbles, but it will lag the site of course.
How would it lag the site if most of the users will have it off? And it's really only going to slow your computer's speed down if you move your mouse over the tabs. Just makes no sense how something so little could destroy the speed of the site o_O
Btw, to no one in particular but I feel this whole 'lagging site' counter to every suggestion is getting annoying =/ If every 'little' thing that someone suggests will cause superlag then AG really needs to get a better server or something because eventually there's probably going to be a great suggestion that's going to be a real improvement to the site's overall experience.
But I guess the idea is not valid then >_> It probably wasn't going to get in the update list anywho.
And it's really only going to slow your computer's speed down if you move your mouse over the tabs.
I meant that >.>
When my anti-virus makes pop-ups it lags my computer and messes everything up. Imagine if you playing a game and it pops up and then you won't get able to play the game and it will ruin your gameplay.
