Hey Ric. If you haven't noticed, it wasn't him, it was the guy leading the vows. It wasn't Obama. If you listened to him speak, you would understand. And on top of that, he is stressed out. Anyone would if they would be sworn in as the leader of the #2 strongest nation.

This is how the vow went:
"I Barack Hussein Obama," began Roberts.
"I Barack," said Obama, and before he could continue, Roberts said, "do solemnly swear."
Obama: "I, Barack Hussein Obama, do solemnly swear"
Roberts: "That I will execute the office of president to the United States faithfully...
Obama: "that I will execute..."
Roberts: "faithfully execute the office of president of the United States..."
Obama: "The office of president of the United States faithfully..."
At that point, Roberts got back on course, leading as Obama followed with "and will, to the best of my ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States."
I know! She talked like we were dumb at least it didn't take away from the event.

Ah I am interested in what Obama plans for our future, he seems to know what he's doing, and I cannot help but be optimistic about this for if not then why even bother living in this country? That is an interesting question to myself I think.

I got it on DVR. I rewound it 4 times. It was the man who was starting the vows, not the president. And after all this is finished, I'm waiting for the funnies that go afterwards. Family Guy of course, featuring George Bush crying because he's not president, and the man who was saying the vows screwing up ENTIRELY, and giving everyone a good bit of laughs. It will happen =)

Obama quite utterly ruined his vow speech, he rushed the justice, and he also forgot the words and had to have the justice reread them over to him again. Not someone that I personally would want ruling my country, but maybe he plays a better president than vow reciter.

No kidding, all this whining from extremist Republicans(wow) is making me run for the hills in slight shame and annoyance, Japan you say...you know, tight spaces makes a lot of sense*grabs belongings*. I'm the only one in my family that saw most of the inauguration, my mom and dad are going to watch it later when it replays, I can't wait to see that guy mess up and laugh at the lady that blinks 20 times per minute(a reporter), plus I saw this guy that looks like my Biology teacher, who I dislike strongly...

You know why? Because the people actually pitch in for once and do their jobs TOGETHER. Japan is so great because they are living on the well-known, ancient culture of hard-work, honor, and respect. I can tell you, and I could've told you then, that the U.S.A. is lacking all three of them by a large margin.
