Why not just make moderators? Or different types of moderators? I know moderators can't be everywhere but why not either make specific types that look at different things?
Really how many people have gotten merits for game comments this year? I have to admit they have gotten a lot of spam but it would help because then they would have people when there gone finding and reporting spam.And I knowthey would hire more moderators if they needed them but now I am trying to think of something that is smaller than a moderator that can close spam with the moderators permission.
well I am being a bit lazy here so I didn't read all of the posts and so I don't know if anyone else has pointed this out yet,but you have to keep in mind that with only so little moderators this would be obsolete.Not all of the mods come online at the same time,so if one mod who is assigned to only assigned to give merits see's someone deliberately spamming(for whatever reason) all over a forum section.Then in theory wouldn't this mean that if this is implemented that they wouldn't be able to do anything about it immediately?Also it seems that coming across people who fit the moderator criteria is hard to come by, so I don't really think it would be a good idea to spread thin the very few AG has, or try to hire a bunch of new moderators who may not be as trustworthy or mature, etc. to compensate for this(I realize that no one may have implied this that I am aware of,but am just covering it anyways)so really the way I see it this would not work with the way AG is set up currently,and I don't know if the mods would be too happy about being restricted on what they can do as far as moderating either.
Well I wouldn't say that all the moderators are mature but are nice people.But I think someone should be hired for game commenting merits. Less spam for game comments making someone want to play the game more.
