no emo is a lifestyle, where you cut your wrists, die your hair black, and whine about your mom coming into your room all the time while you're playing xbox.

And that was the stereotypical emo basher. Some people have real problems and issues.Abusive environments cause emoness.

1: Emotional is not a style it is a type of music

The first emos (the real ones, not the blackloving ones) were great fans of punk music.
They were dressed pretty much like everone else, in band t-shirts and giant headphones and stuff like that.

2: Q:If its not Emo then whats the style thats going around? A:Probably a take off of goth just not so much hardcore

Later it became a style, as many "emos" are wearing all black, makeup, are very emotional and stuff like that. As the fandom sprang from punk, well... Might be goth, might be something else, but still, now it is a style/way of living.

4Whats up with the whole cutting your wrists thing? A: I would go talk to your doctor...and therapist...

Emo = Emotional. Mainly being depressed (hence the black), but cutting wrists are not a part of the style. If you are cutting your wrists it is a sign of inner pain, and depression, as well as a wish for attention. Yes, go see a doctor, selfdestroying behaivior might lead to psychological illnesses.

5 Do you now understand what Emo (Emotional) really is? A: Yes, hopefully

With modifications, yes.

woke up this morning,
looked in the mirror,
THEN I CUT MY WRISTS AGAIN!

Brushed my teeth,
combed my hair,
TELL MY MOM I DON'T WANT BREAKFAST!

I've never heard of emos with real problems. most of the ones that I know about are kids who are sad because their girlfriend broke up with them, and they don't know any rational way of dealing with it.

Not only that. Funny thing about cutting (not funny, no): Many teenagers cut themselves because it gives them attention, not because they are letting out pain. Adults with depressions are cutting because the physical pain is better than the psychological one.
Also, the pain might give a rush (to either).

I know some kids who have real problems and because of this, they are emo. I slit, and its because I have no rational way or dealing with an abusive, bully dad and a drunk, high mom... She's mighty Bitchie to.

Most emos are kids who actually have nothing wrong in their life but they want sympathy. So get your gun next time you see one, be a true American citizen.

Physical pain is easier to deal with that psychological pain.
Like if you break your leg, everyone can see you are hurt, but if you becom manio depressive you are just annoying.

Emos are teenagers. Every darn teenager acts like that once in a while. Often boys are doing it more than girls.
