Not sure if there id a similar thread already.

Being from Britain I would have to agree he was pretty bad "sending us to war" (at least Obama has already threatened the "special relationship" we have with each other). Can't remember if Bush is the least popular of all time I think he might have neaten Nixon in the polls. The debt is very subjective as well I don't know much about economics especially on such a scale but I'm pretty sure it is meaningless. I mean you can still afford to have a couple of wars on the go etc. Plus most countries are ib debt last I saw.

He had one of the lowest approval ratings after leaving office in history.

It was like 23% or something like that.

I think he was a bad president, we shouldn't have even gone to war against Iraq, and also making the economy the worst its been in!

who really cares what polls say..............I mean tennisman24's biggest argument is 30 words more or less. We are in an economic crisis but it could have started when bill clinton was president just blame bush should become the liberal slogan cause it's all they ever do. kinda like this :what do you think of the iraq war? BUSH SUCKS BUSH SUCKS! no no what about the war? IT'S CAUSING GLOBAL WARMING! no sir please stay on topic! NO DIS IS TOPIC NOW! do you have any thoughts on iraq? YES DAT WHY SHOULD WE KILL INNOCENT PEOPLE AND THAT NICE MAN SADAM HUSSEIN? =D pretty close i think................ But let's not mock the people that vote for people like obama and al gore and hillary clinton let's mock the leaders! recently stated by al gore

this is what he said to some kids

There are some things about our world that you know that older people donât know. Why would that be? Well, in a period of rapid change, the old assumptions sometimes just donât work anymore because theyâre out of date. New knowledge, new understandings, are much more widely available sometimes to young people who are at school, who arenât weighed down with the old flawed assumptions of the past. Now, donât get me wrong, your parents and your elders, as youâve already figured out, know a lot that you can gain from, but in a period of rapid change, there are times when new understandings are more apparent to young people.

you see, your mom and dad are just stupid, basically.

I didn't blame Bush for making a bad economy, i'm blaming him for making the economy worse than Bill Clinton had it.

Bush was one of the most inert presidents ever. He spent over 1/3 of his presidency on vacation, and he thought that the reason people were mad at him about Katrina was because he didn't land Air Force One in Baton Rouge(WTF???!) He didn't cause the economic recession single-handedly, but he did make bad decisions like tax breaks to fat-cat corporations, and almost completely deregulated the entire economy, allowing said fat-cat corporations to screw the poor and middle class, which soon led to a foreclosure wave which burst the housing bubble, which made banks afraid to lend, which stopped the credit markets, which caused another foreclosure wave, which caused the unemployment rate to go up, which caused the consumers to be really afraid to spend, which caused the wave of bankruptcy that we are in today. He didn't directly cause it, but he was an absolute f*cking idiot and did not look forward to the possible future consequences of his actions, causing the recession that we are in today. His presidency rating: 1.5/10

I hated him, he is a drug using idiot who only got through life with his father's money and name. He has never held a job and got though college with a D average. The man was unfit to lead.

Not saying that any of you people are like this. But I find it most will hate Bush just because the rest are. So some might just jump the bandwagon beacuse all they see is hate towards the guy. I don't like Bush eaither, though we do need to look at the facts, and not the "Bush sucks beacuse he has a gay smile/laugh" (Yes that has been brought up before)

Anyway, I have to say I don't really like the guy, but me being from Canada may not experince him much. We DO have Harper, who seems to follow Bush everywhere he goes!

First, let me say that the biggest reason we are in a depression is because our CEOs would rather ship products into the country to save more cash than keep business in the country and make less cash. The CEOs saved a pretty penny for themselves but because of them, most of our money is in China. If they didn't aim for making the most money possible and they kept the businesses open here, then they would have made less money but at least America's money would stay in America. You can't blame Bush for what the pigs do.

Second, Andrew Johnson was far worse than Bush. 'nuff said.
