This is a place where people can sumbit their wonderfully horrid horrors, but please keep them pg-13 due to the existence of young, inocent members of ArmorGames.

Since I haven't seen a specific thread for my favorite type of stories I thought to myself why don't I make an awesome thread only for horror stories!

So here you go. Horror Heaven. Enjoy.

And I forgot to mention that I was thinking about doing some sort of a competition for the best story after people began to post here.

If any of you would be interested in being judges, just say so!

I hope this thread becomes popular!

We had a writting competition once. It died.
People usually are rather uninterested in stories, though we have great authors here on AG.
I will try and make one, but that might have to wait, until I have written the next intro for the MWT.

Muahahaha, this is the perfect thing to do each weekend >
A competition for stories would be nice, but as Cenere said, it died, because there's several decent - good writers on AG, but no particularly avid readers, the two just don't balance.

The MWT is a rpg made in stories and pictures. People seem to enjoy it greatly, and well, I do too.
Short explaination would be: The contestants are brought to a city by the Lady, who mades them fight each other. The winner will be allowed into the Tower, and become the "greatest soldier", at least that is what she has told them.
It is great reading (coughIwroteitcough), so just take a look in the FAQ, there the intros are collected.

Once upon a time, there was a man. Not just and ordinary man. This one had quite a peculiar hobby. One might say, this hobby of his was quite inhumane. Others may not, but they both agree, it is completely horrific.
About 10 years ago a boy and his family moved into a town called "Bedrockadalionosis" which was a common name for 10 years ago. In their neighborhood, like all of yours, existed a house. ZOMG NOT A HOUSE! Yes, a house.
They heard rumors of the house, that it withheld secrets that no human should have to bare. But this only drew them close. So close in fact they found themselves licking the door. Licking the door? Yes, licking the door.
Odd, the door did not taste like a door. It seems to taste... like a rock, thought the boy. In fact, it tastes like limestone with a touch of shale, some conglomerate shavings in places. Yes, conglomerate shavings.
The man inside, had supersonic hearing, which some would say, similar to superman. Or even ninja ponies... he heard their voices discussing which tasted better, the shale door or brick windows. This angered him, he shouted, "WTF?!" in anger...

To be continued... probably in 10 minutes when I get bored again. STAY TUNED!

I could say a lot. But I'm not going to. Aren't you over reacting a tab bit? In a pissy mood because of something that happened online, that doesn't effect your life in any way? *sigh* I know Internet is serious business, but really? Is it hurting anyone?

But because you asked so kindly, I mean when you said I was screweing, I kinda made a funny face, but it was kind, therefore I will stop.

Yes, but I come onto the internet for intellibible conversation, or to read something that'd entertain me. When I see a "Submit Horror Story Here" thread, I wanna see horror stories...not comedy stories. lol.

Alright, thank you.
Your witty way of flame war is upsetting, and odd. lol.

First off this is a true story (if you believe in this osrt of thing). Luckily I live in York and it is one of the most "haunted" places in Europe.

It is 1356 and the Black Death has been spreading like wild fire throughout the known world. Thousands have died and few who have contracted the disease have lived to tell the tale. In the city of York the dead are piling up on the streets rotting and furthering the spread of this plague. Ifected houses have a red cross painted on the door to warn survivors to keep clear.
A family, two parents and a young daughter sit round the table happily eating their stew. The father is a butcher in the shambles; a dark narrow street, blood from the slaughtered animals staining the cobbled streets crimson. They have said grace thankful God has spared them.
After their meal the young girl is sent to bed. She has seen the bodies on the streets and her mother talks to her, helps her get changed into her nightdress and tells her a story. As the mother slips the dress over her daughters head she notices dark patches under her daughters arms. Once the daughter is asleep she leaved the room and takes to her husband. The girl is infected, their is no hope for here. They decide to leave, they lock up all the doors and windows and paint a red cross onto the door.
The next day neighbours here the young girl crying. They see here gaunt face pressed up against the window of her bedroom. Two men run to the door but turn back after seeing the cross. For five days and five nights the girl sat at the window crying anbd calling for her mother and father to return. But they don't. They never come back to see their little girl. No one enters the house to help her. Her little face presses up against the window becoming paler and thiner as the disease takes its course. Slowly she withers away to nothing. Her skull pressed up against the window turns to dust.
To this day you can hear the faint moans and screams of a girl abandoned by her parents to die slowly locked in her room.

Below is a picture of the window.

Only a Dream
By: Alex Melnik

Kelly Stuart was a nice, 12 year old girl. She lived with her mother and father in a small house in North London. Kellyâs parents were rather mean to their daughter; theyâre just a bit grumpy from work, Kelly would convince her self. She always listened to her parents and did what they told her to do, but they treated her like a slave and would slap and spank her for no apparent reason and come home drunk, even on days of parent conferences or Kellyâs recitals.
One day, Kelly walked into the house to see her parents screaming at each other like two crazy sparrows. They were so far into the argument that they didnât notice Kelly enter the room. Her mother screamed,â Charles, you know that sheâs getting to expensive for us, but I have an idea. My sister Mildred has a friend who has a friend who is the brother of a man that can take care of the situation.â Kelly winced. She began to have a sick feeling in her stomach.
Charles Stuart replied, ââ¦But Rose, I mean, wonât they know that we had something to do with it? I say we do it ourselves. Itâs cheaper and less risk of anyone finding out. They would never suspect loving parents like us.â
Kellyâs mom stomped her foot and whispered, âDonât worry honey; the murder wonât be able to be traced to back to us.â
Kelly ran to her parents and began to sob; her mother began to shake her.
âWake up Kelly!â shouted Rose Stuart.
âHuhâ¦?â puzzled the confused Kelly.
âYou were having a bad dream sweetie. Itâs ok, itâs all over now,â assured her mom.
Rose began to walk out of the room. Kelly was relieved to see that it was only a silly dream of hers. She lay in bed, unable to fall back asleep after the nightmare. All of a sudden she heard a creak and instinctively began to pretend she was asleep.
Her mother quietly walked into the room; Kelly opened her left eye slightly to see her mother pointing a gun at her.

THE END

where did you hear the story?

It a famous story in York, I first heard it in a ghost walk around the city. I've got loads more plus I've looked around and York is officially the most haunted city in the world with 504 ghosts and has the oldest ghost (a roman legionary).
Thanks I hope you liked the story.
