I think that there are many grammatical errors on the forum. Well I've played a game called KOL( Kingdom of Loathing) where players can send someone an item( I cant mention it here it may offend people) that changes other people's grammar and spelling automatically(such as changing thnx to thanks). The grammar in KOL's forum is quite fantastic compared to other multiplayer games. Is it possible to code it in Armor Games? Just wondering though.
Well, KoL is a mmorpg, and many of the items in it have some special property. Some items are more comical then pratical, and some of those items will change the way you speak in the KoL chat. For example, u into you, teh into the, omg into oh my god, and so on.
He's asking if maybe Armorgames could program something like that so that the people that type like that would appear as if they did.

@nichodemus, I feel for your effort you are trying to start up, I really do. There are so many grammatical errors on AG, that it's unbearable that schools are not teaching these kids enough about grammar. I support your cause 100%, I hope it works out.
In my opinion everyone should just use firefox and follow spell check. Then, the spelling will be solved. If they have bad grammar personally, then we can't solve that. (Your coding helps solve spelling, not grammar)
Start using programs like that and you are going to ruin children. This will cause a lack of care for grammar because the program will fix this, and this will breed a generation of idiots on AG. You need to actually learn proper spelling as opposed to doing it all wrong and having it auto fixed. But I do encourage Firefox's spellcheck, because sometimes I misspell a word and it helps me out, it's all anyone should need.
Well what i meant( for my case) is taht somethimes I type too fast( see what I mean?) and as a result people can't read my posts. Also, if the grammatical errors are changed over and over againthen children would start to learn won't they? ( well I'm not a children's specialists.) Maye AG can implement a spell check, I'm not sure though. Oh yes, an the KOL item I think is a (pardon) WANG, its actually a function. It's kinda handy though in case some guy decides to speak in Leet. I'm not really sure but KOL is constantly praised for the perfect use of grammar( most of the people in the chats use grammatically correct sentences after a while). It's just an idea so just ignore it if you think its ridiculous. XD
Oh but then you'd take away the beautiful, unique, language of the Internet. I mean where else can you sit there and say "Zomg lolwut did teh n00b just post up on that thread!?" and not have everyone look at you like an idiot???
I think we should only really have to correct bad grammar if it's beyond annoying, like someone posting unintelligible words paragraph by paragraph in a serious discussion about, say, an important world event, otherwise I wouldn't really care if someone uses iAbbreviations like 'omg'/'lol' or common typos like 'teh'/'taht'.

I really don't mind grammatical mistakes, it's the spelling errors of simple words that sets off my OCD moments. With that in mind, there should be no reason why you should misspell a word on here, if you're using FireFox, because it underlines any word not in the dictionary in red. Right now, OCD and FireFox are the ones in red. Anyways, this is why I support wanting a preview button or an edit-post feature, so you can CHECK if your post is what you want it to be.

It's just a suggestion about grammar of a small minority that is somewhat an annoyance depending on how much they mess up teh(bwahahaha) grammar and spelling, no need to shoot it down as 'complaining' >_> I could be really annoying and start posting in 1337 all over the place, and get some other people to do it to, then this could possibly be a popular problem =)
Well maybe on the Internet, grammar really has no "real' usage, but I think ( my opinion only!) that in real life, grammar shows what kind of person you are. I've read reports that children are so used to internet spelling( know as noe, thanks as ty or thnx) that they make loads of mistakes in their essays/work. Lastly, its just a simple suggestion/idea/opinion so just kindly ignore if you think it's absolute trash/rubbish/junk.
