Darwin Day has become an annual celebration, and the bicentenary of Darwin's birth and the 150th anniversary of the publication of On the Origin of Species are being celebrated by events and publications around the world
So that is why people are celebrating Darwin.

You don't Charles Darwin, English naturalist that proved evolution and natural selection, wrote the Origin of Species and accomplished other things.
Well he didn't prove evolution or anything. But he was the first create the theory of evolution by showing that evolution and adaptation occurs through natural selection.

If Booth and his friends were successful in their plot to kill the three most powerful leaders in the US at that time, then history would have been very different. Booth was an idiot to believe the war was still being fought.
