because, they are either jerks, are have something bothering them, and they dont want to show how weak they really are, so they have do that to people.
mostly because it makes them feel better. it doesn't mean there bad people they just need something so they don't get depresssed. And in my case I don't do it on purpose. Its kinda instinct. Sorry

People put down other people either because they were always put down by somebody else earlier on in life, or because it just makes them feel stronger than they really are.
