Modern America's music and fashion style is totally fixing to take a trip to the 80's! You can tell how we wear 70's-80's with a little modern twist. As for music, my station-late at night- plays newer bands and bands who are trying to get a start, and they all have that 80's music going. This is great for me and my IRL band because we've always played a little bit 80's and I've always loved 80's music.
tottaly agree most ppl at my school have some sort of 80's flair in there style. And music wise 80's was an amazing time for music....like 70's better i think but still an amazing era of music
Yeah the 70's had some great classic rock, but my opinion stands for the 80's. Thing is, most 80's is so good it's still ROCK not classic, well doesn't matter. Now movies.... I don't think movies are going back to the 80's.
I love the 70's and the 80's. The 60's were good too. I'm only 15, and seriously, if you were to look at me you would go "omgwtfbbq?!" just because of how much I resemble the modern teen from then. Skin tight jeans, long hair, and shirts of bands from those eras. 5 years ago when I started dressing like this, yeah I was 10 haha, I told them all "The 80's are coming back!" They just laughed...
I'm sorry but I have to stop everyone right there. 80s fashion? Please. Shoulder pads and big hair for the ladies, testicle shrivelingly tight trousers for the men?
Although I will concede that there was a lot of decent music from that decade.
do you not look around guys wear tight jeans all the time even guys in there like 30's do. music wise id think its coming back because music is developed off new creation and also old to blend to make a new sound
This so true! Just think about Flo Rida's new hit Right Round. It's from the 80's song You Spin Me Round (like a record). Though....he of course changed the entire message of the song....haha
I love the 60's and feel that the 70's were ok (well punk was anyway). but the 80's coming back into fashion oh well I'll just have to stay out of fashion for a bit longer. Wake me up when the 60's come back lol.
