Modern America's music and fashion style is totally fixing to take a trip to the 80's! You can tell how we wear 70's-80's with a little modern twist. As for music, my station-late at night- plays newer bands and bands who are trying to get a start, and they all have that 80's music going. This is great for me and my IRL band because we've always played a little bit 80's and I've always loved 80's music.
60's is still coming back. Really I see more 80's than 60's. But don't get discouraged!! I see some 60's too. We dress with more classic styles now, I've always liked to dress like that, I just gotta figure out how to style my hair(and how I want it styled).
Tight jeans, really? I see allot of this where I live, not only skaters, just everybody, jeans and yes, Tight Jeans are super casual. They were super popular in the 80's, and how we got to ripped jeans, is because they were so tight they ripped allot, and it's cheaper(and it does look cooler) to make that the style instead of buying more jeans day after day(Maybe not day after day, but ya know, commonly buy new jeans.).
