i don't think sigs are really a good idea because some just take up too much space and it could get annoying...

True... perhaps if there was some sort of size requirement, it may work.

200 character limit? It takes 80 to bring up a full picture from say, image shack, or just from plain google. 200 would give the user options to upload multiple sigs, just cluttering up the pages.

true, i think it should be like 100. if its more then too bad.
