I have a feeling that our current president, Barack Obama, is not going to survive one full term. Stepping up to office, he is now vulnerable to assassination, more than any other president so far. Since he's the first non-white president, there will be more racist criminals after him; I'll be amazed if he survives two full years in office. I think he won't last that long, but I've been known to be a rather pessimistic fellow. What do you think?
if he is assassinated, its more than likely that his assassin is a family member of a troop who didnt get pulled out of iraq and then died as a result.
This whole notion of him getting killed or something (which I THINK is what this thread is about) is spawned by racism.
Yes, my theory is he will be assassinated by some racist basturds who can't see past the color of a man's skin. I am not a racist, but I can surely recognize it when I see it.
I serioudly don't see how or why Obama would be killed by some sort of...group...Or why, when Bush can get 2 terms, Obama can't.
A large part of America's population is still pretty conventional, and they'd much rather have a Texan cokehead idiot as their president than an intelligent black man. All they care about is the color of his skin. Those are the people you should worry about...
personaly i hope not long. anyone who agrees with me here i am.
I take it that you dislike our current president?
yeah, people just saw bush as an idiot, but they didnt see him as a threat.
My point exactly! Racist people didn't whack Bush because they didn't see him as a threatening change to their conventional ways that probably date back a couple hundred years. Obama, however, is a lot more of a threat to those racists, and is therefore a much bigger target to assassination.
And I don't want to hear one more person accuse me of being a racist, because I am not. If I were a racist...well...I don't know what I'd do, because I'm not a racist, so I wouldn't know.
i'm not going to discuss this with people who haven't read his policies first. you can find them at [url=http://www.whitehouse.gov/issues/]. until you read at least some of those, don't BEGIN to argue that Obama shouldn't be president.
and just so you know, i am a strong supporter of Obama and pushed for support of him during the election through my extensive knowledge of his policies. i also got more votes for him due to such.
The only thing that people can pester the poor guy about is the length of time that its taking him to get the programs running, but who cares about that, at least he's getting stuff done! You hardly can pin things on him aside from that, unless you're right-winged about these issues. I for one and left-winged, and support change for things that NEED to be changed, for instance, health care, but not so much that I want everything to be changed. I'm Conservative in places that I feel need to stay the way they are, and Liberal when I feel the opposite.
