Each animal has a trait that keeps them alive. These traits have been developed by experience and survival instinct. This process is called Evolution.
For example, the Archer Fish had always seen insects on leaves but wasn't a fast enough swimmer to catch underwater prey. This caused the fish to starve to death. They soon developed a way to spit water at the insects and cause them to fall of their leaf so the fish can eat them.
Evolution is always continuing. The only thing that is consistent in life is change. What do you think Humans will evolve into? Will they develop a new skill or a new body?
I personally think they will grow taller and develop stronger bones and muscles. The common cause of death among humans has usually got to do with them being crushed or damaged seriously somehow whether it be hit by a car or dying in a fight of some sort. I've heard rumours that people with red hair are going extinct due to their vulnerability to the sun.
And heres another thing, the monkeys became humans but that theory is unacceptable by charles darwin i hope his journey to south america wasnt in vain, but look on the bright side he gather some sepecimens of birds
You can't call that evolution. Being a cyborg means that your limbs or your organs have replaced by machine parts. They have't "evoluted" to your body.
yeah CubanFrog is right...machinery is not part of evonlution...and if we try to make ourselves cyborgs...then that would show that man has tainted the world...and that would make human life hard...because alot of other animals would die...and we are experiencing it on a minor level right now...
ok, redheads are not growing extinct because of suceptibility to the sun, how many people do you hear of dying of severe sun burn...seriously, it is not a phenomenon of any notable scale assuming it happens at all! anyway, moving on :P
i believe we are at a stage in ou development where, certainly in our societies, physical impediments are less important than they might have been in years past, and those with superior mental capacities will instead take the advantage...
to be honest i feel that we will continue our evolution naturally and also we will add on to our selves making bionic body parts and what not.... im sure that if we live to see another 300 years any person who wanted to would be able to get robotic body parts inside and out
We will evolve into smarter humans! Not such of a good explanation isn't it? Well we probably won't evolve since we are "FULLY EVOLVED" but maybe other things will evolve? It would be nice to see a talking plant.
Our brains will get bigger and bigger and so will our ego till something big happens. We will eventually colonise other planets for living space and resources so maybe the humans there would adapt to their planet.
I suppose we might grow some more dominate genes, and change our features a little. The gene for blue eyes might be dominate, and it will then be uncommon for non-blue eyed people.
Actually, Fritz, blue eyes tend to be less dominant than brown eyes.
Look at it this way; is there any kind of humans with specific traits who breeds more? Have more children. Whichever traits are most often passed on to new generations will eventually become dominant.
Because humans are as diverse as they are, I don't think anything will be preferred enough to be a norm in the new gens any time soon. Everyone is attempted saved. Almost everyone is allowed to procreate. Your genes doesn't matter as much as your personality, and because of all the different kinds of personalities, that doesn't even matter much anyway. And if you completely fail at finding a partner, you could always just procreate with the sperm banks.
