Another one for you guys: Was Jesus a lunatic, a good teacher, God, or something else? This should get interesting...

Are you talking about when Satan was trying to tempt Jesus? Jesus handled it perfectly. Classic Jesus... Oh Yeahhh.

how could he be human when he died on the cross for all of us?

but if he was some form of God how could he die at all (omnipresence and all that). I always think it is strange that debated went on in the Vatican hundreds of years ago to decide just how divine Jesus one. too god like and he couldn't die. Too human and he couldn't resurect.

Surprisingly I think he was just a human. a good one up there with buddha and bill hicks (ok not so much bill).

Jesus did exist, he was an admirable man, although....

I have a feeling his ''abilities might have been exaggerated a bit''

Is that some kind of documentary Firefly? (brilliant episode, very funny)

I'm not sure how many people out there still don;t accept Jesus lived at some point though. I think you can deny who he was and what he did but not that he existed.

This is my favourite take on Jesus by Robin Williams (obvious note if you have no sense of humour don't watch it)

God loves us so much that heb sent his son (Jesus) to die for our sins. He was God but he became a man so that he could die for us.

Scientific method:

Question -> Hypothesis -> Experiment -> Analyze -> Retest -> Analyze -> Conclusion

Religious method:

Question -> Is it in the bible? -> Conclusion (yes or no to step 2)

your saying you are correct that your billion year thing is correct because of your scientific method. How do you know you have solid evidence.

Question -> Hypothesis -> Experiment -> Analyze -> Retest -> Analyze -> Conclusion
This is, like you said, the scientific method. The problem, though, is that evolutionists don't use it all the time. Their way, when it comes to proving evolution, is more like this:
Question(is evolution true) -> Hypothesis(evolution is true...I won't be going into details on this) -> Experiment(look for information that might shed some light on this) -> Analyze(remove the information that doesn't match up with hypothesis and try to hide it from the public) -> Retest(go back to where the information that matched up and prove it over and over) -> Analyze(publish your findings and force teachers to teach it in any school possible) -> Conclusion(evolution is a law! this part hasn't happened yet...)
