Well kirby, if I were a peasant back then and I saw a guy walking around claiming he was the son of god, I would believe him. See, we were simple minded back then, before science and edumacation and all that.
That was only 2000 years ago though. What about the great Greek philosopher etal or the aegyptians before that. They were simple in many respects though and would probably have believed someone was the un of god quite easily.
Jesus was the SON of God. That was why he was born of Mary.
Incorrect, Jesus is not simply the son of God, he IS God. God is a divine trinity, comprised of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. All three of these entities are separate, but are joined into one God. Each is God, just not ALL of God. So Jesus was not the son of God per say, he is rather the part of God which we call "the Son."
Sorry about the double post, but I spelled "Revelations" wrong

sort of, but not quite. Each is God...period. They have different properties to them (they do different things), but each of them is God. I guess what I am trying to say is that they are all the same Person. Saying that they are each only a part of God implies that they are different, when, in fact, they are all the same.
He was but he established Christianity and Christianity is different from Judaism.
What I don't get about followers of Mr. J Christ is why some like to wear crosses.
I don't understand too. I'm Mormon, so I don't wear crosses and crosses aren't displayed in church. The reason is that the cross killed Jesus. Why do people wear something that killed Jesus?
