ok i belive we need to make a better contrey becuase we use air money (paper money with no value of gold or silver) and most likely to die from (aaaa la la la la... boooom!) and are most hated so what do you think?
Erm.....I really don't have much to say. Although, the people in the States themselves joke about carring around a fake ID. You know, how 'Americans' have ID's that say they are Canadian, British, Sweadish ect ect.
PS, "America" is not really a country. More like a contenent, or two.
I think you'll have to learn to spell, my English is not that good and I hardly can understand what you're talking about. I don't think you can place all of America in just a corner, there áre people who desperately need to change, but there must be lots of 'good' Americans. I never bin in America, so I don't have a right to say something, but America is not better or worse than the most of the countries all over the world.
The US must have self confidence issues. Every American I have talked to one of their first questions was always "What do people think of our country?"
I do agree with Pixie. Since Americans have been criticized so much these years, you can expect them to ask what do you think about them if you are a foreigner.
We use paper money for good reasons. It's light, flexible, and colorful. I wouldn't want to end up like those in the old days where the rich would have a hard time carrying their purses, because they are too heavy.
America is most hated mostly because you stick your nose into all foreign matters and think it your duty to help those in need. If it was for the Monroe Doctrine, then I'd understand, I mean, that's not very much land to cover, but now that the USA has been a strong power for a century, they got this big idea that they are supposed to be the malefactors in everything.
Money is America is virtually worthless, it is backed by nothing except the government saying it's worth something. Also, I find many Americans to be too patriotic.

the gold standard was one of the main causes of the great depression going back to it would be the worst move ever i don't think there is any country that backs up their money with gold or any precious metal
Money only is used to represent things. The first predecessors to real banknotes were promissory notes. Anyway, it is more handy to exchange coins and notes instead of bartering or exchanging gold.
This is funny. If you guys are Americans then why are you dissing your country? It's strange how you still live in the US if you hate it so much.
The author referred to his nations as a "trap" country. It's also ironic that he is American but spelled America as "amirica".
Paper money is just symbolism. It is a promise and works on the basis that it is worth the value it states.
I have a £20 note in front of me. Nice pic of the queen and Adam smith on the back. On it it says the "Bank of England" in fancy writing and then the line "I promose to pay the bearer on demand the sum of twenty pounds". I know in the past that literally meant you could walk into the bank and demand £20 wortyh of gold. I think it is amazing the conditioning of the human mind that a piece of paper can turn into something so valuable.
I think America doesn't have any fault of what is happening. The main guilt is from their previous brainless and stupid president, Bush.
And of course, in every country, there are stupid citizens too, we can't blame a whole nation for some independent idiots whith wrong ideas, appearing and saying them on tv
