ok, if you haven't seen link or the legend of zelda before the game, I bring it to you now, it survived 1 season, and probably because during the 13 episodes, there was over a minute and 30 seconds of link saying this one line: Well EXCUUUUUUSE me, princess.
1989? Cartoon? I have never heard of anything like this before. Link IS annoying and funny. Hell, he said that phrase so many time in only thirteen episodes. Well EXCUUUUUSE me princess. Hehe.
Ohhhh yeah, that good old show. There was actually a site dedicated to that line being spammed not too long ago.
I actually grew up watching that show when I was very young (about 4 years old) and being too dumb to understand quality at the time I remember loving it. And Captain N. And the Super Mario Bros. Super Show. And the Mario World cartoon.
They all sucked.
Now, if they made a really high-quality cartoon or anime of some of these games now, I think it'd be pretty rockin'. F-Zero got that treatment (though the anime wasn't THAT quality, it was really neat) and I'd love to see stuff like a Zelda or Paper Mario animated series sometime in the future (c'mon, Paper Mario would be PERFECT for a cartoon!)
I haven't watched this one either but I can say that animation looks like that old Conan cartoon I loved watching it when I was a kid. I must agree that video is really annoying. 8]
