Are you sick of those guys that jump into your World Events, Politics, Religion, Etc. thread that say something like...

"Lol, this is just gonna end up being a christianity vs evolution thread. Lol, I like cows, Lol." Or Christianity vs Atheists.

It gets very annoying and they are probably just looking for points. It's not a neccesary comment to make. It is spam I want to kill everyone that says it...twice.

-Crackdown On Spammers. (COS) or not...

Now before you try and be funny and say this is going to be another Christianity vs Evolution thread, think about it. It won't be funny and This is a serious thread...kind of.

I have seen several comments like this in the past couple threads I have looked at. Seriously take a look around. They are there, go look for them! Go, Go!

Unfortunately people don't seem to read sticked threads, especially if there are too many of them. Also I think that might be over-zealous, in a way.

In case you guys haven't realised, this thread is meta-criticism in action: discussion of discussion of issues on the forum. It doesn't have to be useless until your entire forum or subculture ends up being applied metacriticism...at which point it just...goes around in circles...

neither side will ever concede that the other side has any viable points?

For me, this is the main reason christianity atheist threads become dull. It is all about belief. It's a fallacy for theists to pretend there is evidence for some of the things the bible states or some of the things their beliefs hold. It is just as much a fallacy for atheists to claim that there should be evidence for such beliefs as they woould not be beliefs if there was evidence.

Personally, I'd be happy to leave it as that, because all the threads repeatt the same arguments/ideas over and over again, with neither side making any ground. So yea that's the reason I dislike those threads, not because of spam.

Creationsim vs. Evolution...not Christianity vs. Evolution just saying, also from what your saying your comparing the belief of Christians to the beliefs of atheists (who you call evolutionists) which is an incorrect term and in turn you just made another thread that you were complaining about.

Atheism has only an indirect link to the theory of Evolution. And even that link isn't a great way of stereotyping Atheism. Anyway there isn't an argument nor a debate, but a clash between two beliefs. But in the end it boils down to this, and this only: Theism is just a sidetrack or "A Separate Peace" to the actual reality of organisms. Maybe not even that but a fallacy conjured to spin the minds of people to disable or get rid of fear. This put hope in people's hearts. But that isn't necessary at all anymore, there is just a waste of human ingenuity or thought. Now some say Atheism is ignorance, but is that actually true? When there is no tangible or even sustainable evidence to support 'the claims' of Theism? I would believe that saying works for both sides. But do we have the technology and the know-how to be aware of the distinct and prodigious space between A fairy Tale and a quite evident Theory? Or even tell which one prevails?
My opinion lies that there is no god. The way Theism states the very existence of god puts the thought that he created all. But was he always there? That makes no sense, for Theism contradicts itself there. Maybe Buddhists are right, everything is impermanent. Then that would but a whole new meaning to Theism and Atheism, and stop the endless war between the two. Then resolve everything to this: Tis the past that makes us, and the present that is us. But ultimately, it's the future that will break us.
Trust your word, for it may be true.
