Maybe it was just a dream or something because I don't really think he exists but if he does I shall hide.

I don't really belive in the grim reaper but here's what I heard.

The grim reaper/death/angel of death/angel of darkness has a list of people every day and he has to take the people's souls who are on the list. I saw it on some website. I think you might have saw him either because he is warning you one of the people you know will die or something. My other theory is that you watched a horror movie late at night and got scared.

Santa or St. Nicholas existed but he did not live in the North Pole. He also did not have flying reindeer and he also did not wear red. That perceived image of Santa is of course, false and unrealistic. Santa Claus also died a long time ago.

I don't believe in the Grim Reaper. Darn legends...

It was probably a dream or a jacket hanging around with a clock/picture with moonlight shining on it.

i agree with russianfreak. of coarse, serial killers exist, but not one single entity that controls when all humans die. thats just rubbish.

Death as a sentient entity is a concept that has existed in many societies since the beginning of history. In English, death is often given the name the "Grim Reaper" and from the 15th century onwards came to be shown as a skeletal figure carrying a large scythe and clothed in a black cloak with a hood.

In some cases, the Grim Reaper is able to actually cause the victim's death, leading to tales that he can be bribed, tricked, or outwitted in order to retain one's life. Other beliefs hold that the Spectre of Death is only a psychopomp, serving only to sever the last tie from the soul to the body and guide the deceased to the next world and having no control over the fact of their death.

In many languages Death is personified in male form (English including), while in others it is perceived as a female character (for instance, in Slavic languages, e.g. in Polish).

That was from Wikipedia.

Why do people still believe in darn myths and folklore?

Sure the grim reaper exists. If you play the Sims 2...

He does exist, but he doesn't exist anymore when you exit the game.
