I finally decided to start trying to use GIMP, and my first probably (i feel retarded) is i can't figure out how to change the color. I have tried everything as far as i can figure out, and it still stayed the same.
The only way that did work opening up an image with the color i wanted, and then selecting the color with the color select tool from that image and then my brush changed color on the blank canvas.
I was just wondering there was a button or something so that way i don't have to open another image to get the color i want.
Similar in the sense that you can draw on a blank canvas, you can make animations, and you can put in a picture and come out with something totally different.
Of course Fireworks can do a lot more.
Then again, I've never used fireworks,
Then, no offense, don't try and be a smart @ss about it.
If anyone sees this, i am trying to put an image into gimp, but when i try and open it up, it does not show up on the canvas. This has never happened before.
