I'm assuming that this idea will be shot down and to be honest I don't even know if it's possible to set a minimum character limit for game comment, but I'm asking for opinions anyways. Personally it just bothers me when i see the same users saying OK, sucks, boring, or good for every single game they play. I'm not saying all comments have to be huge, I'd just like more than one word.

Tell me what you guys/gals think about it(and tell me if it's even possible). Thanks :]

ya know I just love this Idea this is great to stop all those spammers but what if you are talking with one of your friends and you want to say a quick goodbye there are some flaws in this suggestion but be more specific like think of it as if you were writing a thesis you have to be as specific as possible and get your point across.

on a Tuesday it's 99...

Hrm, on wendsday it plumets to 6 1/2.

Yeah, but Istill do not know how a game comment limit will work. If there is a limit there, there has to be a limit every were else.

And awnser this. How will it help stop spam? Ok, so spammers now go, "bad" So if they had to use 30 charecters, they would simply say, "badhuhuhhjnjh, mnjh;hjhjhh"

Pointless huh? And for those of you that said it will "stand out to mods more" Not really. A one word comment is alot eaiser to see then a long comment of crap.

I love the idea of a minimum character limit, but I do agree with skater_kid, in that it will be very difficult to create a program that can find the number of characters, plus being able to know if all characters are part of an actual word, not just a bunch of gibberish. If someone were willing to do that, it would be great, but I think that right now, the mods and admins pretty much have this under control. Great idea, though.

i think there is no limit. Maybe if you really really want stop the spammings, just remove the bonus AP from posting a comment lol.

Nah, cause previous users already have their two AP from comments, it would be unfair for new users.

You'll understand us soon enough. Eventually you will become one of us and then we will take you to our Mothership for your first official mission.
You will learn the meaning of life as well, which is surprisingly not always 42, on a Tuesday it's 99...

Where is my first mission???!!! I want a mission. Grumble......... People are always picking on me....... Grumble....

Whatever.

Like in the forums yes, to prevent spammers from turning here too.

And awnser this. How will it help stop spam? Ok, so spammers now go, "bad" So if they had to use 30 charecters, they would simply say, "badhuhuhhjnjh, mnjh;hjhjhh"

someone who says that has just given mods a very good reason to ban them. There is a difference between if someone writes 'bad' and 'jrvbkjrwb wbvwhjv kjbfwvwehjkbv jkbvejktwb'. The most likely user to be banned is the guy who wrote the gibberish.

Pointless huh? And for those of you that said it will "stand out to mods more" Not really. A one word comment is alot eaiser to see then a long comment of crap.

Yes. Mods can use the find function from Firefox to simply find comments that have one word in them. But gibberish also stands out, you know.

Speaking of words, is there a word limit?

At the moment, no. That's why we are asking for one.

i think there is no limit. Maybe if you really really want stop the spammings, just remove the bonus AP from posting a comment lol

It's not bonus AP, just normal AP. Otherwise all AP would be bonus. And if we were to strip AP from comments, a lot of people would leave. I know that we don't like spammers, but Armorgames makes money from them when they see the adverts.

this will reduce spamming, but if someone has just a little thing to say, it is not too good

If someone asks you 'how are you' and you simply answer 'good' then I think it counts as spam, because you KNOW you can write more. It also shortens conversations a lot.
