i think that both are good game, WOW is good because of 3d graphics and different classes and races but bad because of cost, lag, and lack of skills, runescape is good if you like to work on a variety of skills and it isnt that cheap and isnt very good if you play free
Runescape is for people that do not wanna pay that much. WoW is diff a more fun game. i have accounts on both and i just have to say you can do so many more things in wow. if you can spare the money get wow. if not play runescape. (wow is 15 a month)(runescape can be free or i think its 5 a month in us)
i like WoW better. it costs more because it offers more. theres quests like runescape, mounts, many continents, expansions, grouping, raids, tier gear, and limitless amounts of random Gear for costums, not to mention the achievements. (even the goofy ones)
I can't believe this discussion actually made it this far. World of Warcraft is far, far superior to Runescape. This, coming from someone who used to play paid Runescape, and who currently plays paid WoW.
There's way more to do in WoW, more content, more variety of areas, more quests, more characters, more skills - more everything, really. PvE and PvP destroy anything Runescape has to offer, and WoW is continually coming out with expansions. Runescape gives the occasional update, but as I go and look at the website now, since the last time I played it really hasn't changed much.
I had even quit WoW for a while, but I know that as a game, it is exponentially better than Runescape.
Then again, Runescape you can play (a limited amount of it) for free. No CD needed, no download, just load up a browser and play from just about any PC with Java installed. Ease of use doesn't make a game though - it gets bonus points for convenience and ease of use, but if you really want to talk gameplay, WoW is going to win no matter which way you spin it.
The only negative to WoW right now, is that for a new player who wants to hit 80 and see all that WoW has to offer, it's going to cost about $100 or so in the account upgrades alone, plus the $13-15 per month. It is definitely worth it though...
WoW cost bags of money while you can play runescape for free. Also you can spend alot more time on runescape before you max out everything then you can spend on WoW. All skills 99, all quests done takes more time then lvl 80 and a few skills maxed...
Let's see here - WoW costs me $13 a month. Runescape costs $5 a month. Is $8 a month really 'bags of money'? Also, you can't max out everything on free Runescape, so you might as well not even mention it. As if maxing out repetitive skills doing the same task over and over is that much fun anyways. All quests done, what, all 100 of them? WoW has thousands of quests and continues to update them more and more with time.
Also, your argument is pretty much nullified when you posted in the other thread that you have 'only played the trial 2-3 times'. So you really have no idea what's at the end of WoW.
deffinately wow the games 3d you can do alot more and it has amzing grafics. In runescape it has terrible graphics not as much stuff to do. (they changed and now you cant even trade 3k or more + they took out the wild!)
