Role playing game vs. first person shooter, in case you aren't quite geeky enough. Which one do you think is better? I personally like RPGs more, but I want to hear other peoples' opinions.
I like them both, but as a generalization I prefer FPS. A good bout of multiplayer on practically any FPS against smart, experienced foes requires just as much strategy as an RPG.
well i like fps like call of duty games and halo series...but i like rpgs like the elderscrolls and others but i like rpgs more cuz i cant wait to see if ill hit better or a new move or something
I agree that FPS games are good for multiplayer. RPGs have way better replay value and they take longer to play, and there's usually a better storyline.
FPS are basically the only type of games made for consoles and such so of course I would prefer FPS because of Halo 3, Killzone 2, and GoW (games like that). I do like RPGs a little bit though. (Stick RPG Complete one of my favorites).
rpgs becasue every game is different, and 3 out of 4 fps are WWII thats boring. why do you think they throw out a new CoD every 3 months. its allways the same game with new maps.
i say fps because there fun not as much strategy unless u go on a hard difficulty or someting or if u have multiplayer on live against strong foes that have an advantage and usually rpg are only one player and i relly love 2 player game snot much for the 1 players though
