This thread, will be a way to promote your merit-worthy comments, to us all...
Some of you might say: 'Shouldn't this be in the Flash Games section?' well you are probably right, but this is a little less involved with games, and a little more involved in help.
Also, if you have any issues with writing merits, you can give it a shot, and ask for feedback. Experienced, but not quite right? Get your feedback here!
To all mods, this is not something that you have to look at, to see the comments, this was designed for people to say 'Hey, have a look at this comment. Do you like it?' and 'Could you tell me what I need to improve on?'
there will always be at least one person who sees a comment in this thread and like it enough to find it and up vote it
There is no problem if people vote for a comment because they find it to be worthy of a merit. The problem is if people just vote up for anything they see here.
"You do not write a merit, you write a good review, and maybe it will be rewarded with a merit."
If you look at the title of this thread, it is Look at my Comment. Not merit, as most will not have been awarded one.
Just remember that I have not voted up for anything that was posted here
Only ours knight_34, only yours.
You see, this thread really has good intentions for people who struggle with writing merit-worthy comments. Not to say 'look at this merit (hasn't got one yet)' but to say 'can you have a look at this, and tell me what I have to do to write a better one?'
i made a comment on sonny 2...my first real attempt at a merit ^.^
This game is very action-packed, sleek, and there is hardly any problem with the graphics or the sound. It hardly feels as if I am playing a game at all, more as if I'm reading a book or watching a movie. or killing ZPCI units myself. The graphics are flawless and the background music in, say, the battle against Felicity, made me nearly want to use it as a ringtone. Each zone is different, with some battles for humor, such as the hobos and the bunny. All the classes have their own style, as everyone knows, but there is a completely different way to win for all of them. Part of why the game is so in-depth is because of the voiced storyline, and the many well-drawn cut-scenes. There seems to be no better game to give the #1 spot to. 10 for 10.
please don't flame some constructive criticism would be better. i am sensitive..
So far, this thread is going pretty well. But I just wanted to get a word of warning in here.
As long as this thread is for constructive improvement of comments, it can stay around. However, if it starts to get into more of an advertising angle with people wanting their comments up-voted or merited, we will have to shut it down. So please just keep it on topic, and it should be fine.
i wasn't exactly expecting a merit because i am terrible at being critical, especially of sonny 2. anytime you rate a game 10/10 you are not going to get a merit, i have seen that.

Thanks Carlie, for the feedback.
why are u suprised sense?
Because only 1 Admin or mod has posted here, and it was nothing to do with a merit.
The mods can use this as a tool to find otherwise snowed-down comments, but this is not designed to be a 'Hey, your a mod, look at this comment' thread.
This is supposed to be a 'I need help with writing merit-worthy comments' thread.
-Reviews should be comprehensive and should clearly describe good and bad points about each aspect of the game
-Constructive criticism is the best kind of criticism. Do not be outright hostile is the game is bad indeed. Point out flaws and things that need improvement in a calm manner.
-Listing Pros and Cons/Good and Bad Points in your review is good
- Make your reviews easier to read by following guidelines and by separating paragraphs.
- Try to use longer, more intelligent looking words.
- Try to follow proper capitalization and punctuation
- Do not get too carried away describing details. Simply state the following.
State something about the game and it's features. What you like about the game What you dislike about the game What could be improved
I use a rating system for my reviews. You do not have to, but sometimes it will be better to use one.
Hmmmm, I have a simplistic layout for my merits, when I actually choose to play a game and then write a comment for it, lol. Review: blah blah (Optional)Suggestion[s]: -blah blah
