I just flagged this guy yesterday. Apparently he posted comments on his profile to gain points. Like 8 comments. And they were monosyllabic or really short, like 'Hi to myslef', 'Lol!','Eh?', that sort of thing.
Actually, that would be more fit for reporting rather than just flagging the comments. Since he should get a little warning and such...
Yes! It is. It helps out admins when they look in that weird database thing I keep hearing that shows all the flagged comments. Easier to find them. might flag a few things too now...
Fixed.
I think if you flag a comment itl imediatley send to the mods,You dont have to whine to the mods just flag it up
In bad cases, reporting is fine. Might mean a faster ban, since mods don't see what has been flagged.
SPAM = Stupid Pointless Annoying Messages.
Just like yours! *flags... no wait, deletes*
Oh, and,
Royadin. Don't post three times saying the exact same thing in different words. *deletes two of them*
Dunno why it gives you the error message, though.
I wonder how the mods can fix it??
We can't, but hopefully the devs will get around to it soon.
you stupid morons!!
sometimes I just don't have to say more than ONE word to describe a game!
but yeah go on and flag me as a spammer!
Looks like someone needs a talking to...
Yes, it is all fine and dandy that all your thoughts/opinions/feelings on/about a game can be expressed in one word (be it cool/bad/stupid/gay/good/awesome/scary/crappy/WHATEVER THE HECK ELSE people post as one word comments).
IT IS STILL FLUFFING SPAM.
And why, you may ask? The game comments are meant to be feedback. Sure, it's nice that you thought the game was "good". You know what, faving it expresses that better. If you thought the game was "bad", it's completely useless to just post that one word! Because that doesn't say anything about WHY you thought it was bad or gay or stupid or awful or horrible or blah!
It does no good for ANYONE. Not for the game developer who might want some constructive criticism/good feedback. Not for the people casually glancing at the comments to see what others thought of the game. Not for the people who's potentially merit worthy reviews are pushed down the comment pages by useless crappy one-word-spam. It's fluffing USELESS.
Also, you really shouldn't flame.
...
A good game comment is generally at least a comprehensible sentence.
"I don't like this game, the graphics suck." is borderline. But not delete worthy, since it actually states clearly what was disliked.
"Awesome, this was so scary and cool!" also borderline. Not delete worthy because it does say
what was liked about the game.
All comments more thought through than that honestly makes me happy every time I see them. But they're actually rare. :<
And now I shall go post that "talking to" on his profile because I'm not sure he'll look here again... None of you take any damage from reading it, though. You should know it.
