The community should be a place to have conversation. There should be a wide variety of things to talk about, especially in the tevern. However, the forums have grown quite dull. Instead of making inturesting threads where a particular topic is had, everyone wants to start some form of game or competition. Even more sad than that is when a user finds a thread idea they like and they rip it off and copy it's main idea or purpose!

All these fads kill the diversity of the forums. Most of the threads being created are nothing more than a simple question to the users. Currently 12/15 threads in the tavern have no point but asking the users a question, and do not share any real ideas. Am I saying these threads are bad? Of course not! There are just way too many! And yes, most of them are stupid questions.
Please focus more on making threads that express ideas! Tell stories! Talk about funny things you saw on the news. Not everything on the news has to be in the World Events! If some guy tried to rob a bank and some old lady kicked his but and you want to share it so everyone can laugh at his failure, share it in the tavern!
Just to throw this in, stop making threads with constantly changing titles such as (this idea at page 3) or (new polls page 5). The threads are supposed to die! If you keep changing the title or theme of the thread, you just crowd up the tavern and prevent it from circulating. If you make a poll, make only one thread for the single poll. Don't pute (Name here)'s Polls either. That is annoying. I wan't to see what the poll is about!
So what is my point? Stop these forum fads! They are annoying and they keep old threads alive, even when they are well past their prime.
Anyways, that does have truth in it. I can see where you're coming from, and I totally agree. The tavern has no decent threads anymore. We've lost our good threads under a pile of surveys, random questions, polls, and just junk. There's too much crap!

There are enough polls as it is. There are a couple different options to what you are asking; one is to just stop making polls all together. Once too many appear the forums get way to cluttered. Another option is to make one poll, wait a little while, once it dies, then make another one. Polls are unnecessary, they only require 5 seconds of a users time. A forum full of these low quality threads, becomes, well tedious.
Well, is it my fault that there's been so many polls lately? It seems that after I did what I saw Roadripper doing, polls, and made one myself, a lot of people decided to make one, too. :/
Hmmm. . .my poll's question is if you think there are too many polls. It was not made as a poll thread, so much as an ironic point. Is that okay, as long as I do it very rarely?
Yeah, I've noticed a lot less people who like to debate post in the forum lately. It's all "I'm right, Your Wrong", "Agree With Me That This Is The Best" and stuff like that. Not a lot of opinions are accepted 0_o
I'm going to think of a good thread topic to post in the tavern.
I have participated much less in debates in the world events lately, because whenever there is a good debate, then whenever I make a point, people just vomit their opinion on it. This has happened less lately, but still is quite frequent.
