Nah, its actually 1.5, divide does come before addition...
Arent exponents before brackets, or is it brackets and then exponents?
BIDMAS
hmm... P - parenthesesE - ExponentsM - multiplicationD - divisionA - aditionS - SubtractionPEMDAS!
I thougt brackets were always first. It is the tohers I always get mixed up with. PEMDAS is the American way of doing it, BIDMAS is what we're taught in England.PEMDAS (for Parentheses, Exponentiation, Multiplication/Division, Addition/Subtraction)BIDMAS (for Brackets, Indeces, Multiplication/Division, Addition/Subtraction)
B=bracketsI=?d=divisionm=multiplicationa=additions=subtraction
So, exponents equal indeces? Right?
Yep and exponentiation may be called Indices, Powers or Orders as well.
1-1=1
Well, i should say multiplication/3*3=93+3=6
multiplication is higher if you use numbers higher than two >_>...
So overall it depends on the number.
we always use pemdas at my schoolmultiplication is higher~chuck norris
