Ok, the UN sends us there, and the UN wants us out? Not makeing alot of sense. It is against internatioal law to just go off invading somewhere without UN approveal. The only exeptions are in self defence. And WMD's aren't only nukes I'll have you know. I used the term for suspence, because I generally make boring speeches. Now, there is a new government in Cuba who should not be forced to let us use Guantanamo Bay. If anything, we should give Cuba back the Bay. Their people never wanted the US there, nor do they want us there now.

It should be about sovereignty. We forced Cuba to accept this deal back in 1903. We controlled them. If they didn't accept the deal, we would withdraw our support. You can't force someone into an agreement.
And Pixie, America needs to get out of the war. When the war first happened economy dropped because of job changes into the army. Then the economy boomed, after 6 years at war its become to much, the companies aren't paying as much anymore gas is at a higher rate because of the wars location.

Hey my comment was null I wasn't saying the war was good or bad at that point. I was just questioning kthx's ida 'cos I didn;t really get them. as far as I'm concerned war is not so good especially for helping national pride etc.
However I agree with your points. America (and England) need to withdraw.
