Hi everybody, this is Xoran! xD So, my xbox360 got the red ring of death! So i got a new one with more memory and stuff, but lost my old memory! Just incase it happens again, how do i fix it?
P.S I tried the towel trick, and it didn't work. Maybe I did it suckie or something... Anyways thanks for your help!
Wow, my spring break was over a loong time ago! xD But, were probably in diffrent places! And, I do keep mine laying down. My brother tipped it over when it was standing up! =)
my brother's got these on thanksgiving day. he can't get a new one untill microsoft gives him some special box to put his 360 in. The box just came in a week ago. It took them about 4 1/2 months to get a box here. UPS messed up the order a few times through...
if you ant to get your old memory back then you will need another xbox one fo your firneds amybe and a data trasfer cabel and you can put your old harddrive onto your friends xbox and use the data transfer cable to transfer all your data over onto your new harddrive. if you do this though be careful cause the cable self bricks which means that you can only use it once because after this it you cant use it ever again(even fi you try and fix it by putting a nail through it and throwing it in front of a van like my friend did).
If you get the red ring of death send it into Microsoft. I did it and they fixed it. You can also wrap it in towels and leave it like that for 20 minutes.
yeah i dont know what to do but i read something on yahoo a while ago that said that microsoft is finally fixing it...but i guess if you already have one your screwed
My Xbox also got the RROD. Sadly I don't have proof of purchase of it anymore though so they refuse to send me a new one. So I guess I'm going to have to wait a few more months before I get another.
lol i love how xbox is the only system that gets these things.. All my friends had the xbox but they keep on getting the RROD and are tired of switching for new ones... After all u bought this system to play, not to have it shipped out every year for a month. So now they all have the ps3, same with me... Its just a btr system.. Well thats what they think at least. So rlly instead of constantly complaining about these issues constantly (cuz its obvious that most ppl get this RROD) just get a different system. Easy as that... Cuz anyways xbox pretty much sucks now.. It's an obsolete system that has nothing truely special when compared to the wii or the ps3.
my friend got it so we used the towel trick when its unplugged wrap it in towels let it cool off for like an hour and plug it back in so we did went to play wii went back and it worked\\ was amazed
