This is a topic for people young and old to tell stories of good parents bad parents and how they manage to annoy you so much so fast! this is not for bashing parents just a place to discuss what they do and why.
Well, without them we'd never have been born. That's good enough if you don't mind. Lots of modern-day parents are often exasperated when it comes to their stuck-up children, especially teenagers, who are the majority of AG's community, are they not?
Even though I'm still a teenager, I respect parents, so long as they aren't abusing their children or something. Looking back on life, probably all of us can understand that everything they did was to prepare us to go out on our own.
I don't really respect my parents. Well.......i used to. But in light of recent and past events, I no longer do, but that's not what this thread is about is it?
So annoying things huh? Well, it seems that every time something needs done, the first name to pop out of my mom's mouth is mine. I will be the only one doing anything, and she will make me do it. Like, WTF!
I love my parents and they love me more than I love them. I respect them. I'm really grateful for what they have done for me so far. Period.
A parent should restrict their kid's activities when their younger, letting them have more freedom steadily instead of total freedom at one shot or no freedom at all. My parents are like that. I've friends whose parents who either give them too much liberty or none at all. And they are all screwed in some way or another.
Yes i know what you mean nichodemus, some of my friends have really no respect for their parents. I think its sad for the parent.

Yeah, some of my 'friends' swear at them... Even if the parent abuses the kid I don't think swearing would be warranted. After all they did give you life which is the greatest gift possible. Now I sound like some old philosopher with a white beard in a wheelchair.
well obviously I love my parents nothing will change that they brought me here without them I would just be non-existant and they have raised me into this perfect (what? I'm alowed some artistic license) well-ajusted human. I do wish they would fix the TV though its been on the fritz for months.
