It's that time again! Spring is a great season full of inspiration, which we are hoping will help you make some great armatars. Now I know that it isn't spring everywhere right now, but it is for the AG office. So how this works is that you can submit your own original armatars to this thread following the theme of Spring. If I like it, I will add it to the 0AP armatar section for all members to use! You can reference previous contests for a better idea of what this is all about here.
Keep in mind that there are some guidelines, and unless your entry follows these set of rules it will not be accepted. So be sure to check those out.
GUIDELINES: 1. Must be appropriate. Cannot be offensive or profane in nature. Try to keep it clean! 2. The entry must be square, and at least 100x100 pixels in dimension. 3. Must scale down well to 100x100. So if it is larger, make sure that it will still look good when it is scaled down to armatar size. A few suggestions about this: - Sometimes simple is better. If you go into a lot of detail, it might not look as great when you scale it down. So just keep in mind what the final size will be. - If you are able to do vector, that can help with the sharpness of the image. However, since they are so small this probably isn't a big issue. 4. Must be completely original. You cannot use elements from other piece of artwork, the entire armatar must be 100% original. 5. Must be spring themed.

Just to reiterate: No, I will not be adding your sun. No, I have nothing against you. No, asking for me to add it will not get it put it. No, the fact that your birthday is coming up will not change my mind. Sorry to be harsh about it, but I really don't think you are getting how this contest is supposed to work. Not everything is that is submitted is added. A certain level of quality must be expected before something can be added as an armatar. And trying to criticize me, or guilt me into it, isn't going to work. You need to get it in there legitimately. But I will promise you that putting down others and being negative about it will not help get any of yours added.
If you don't know why it didn't get added, please ask me personally why it was not chosen. But do not go around criticizing other peoples work because they were chosen, and you were not. All I ask is that you try to be mature about the way you act on this thread and how you are treating other artists. As I already said, if people choose to fight and criticize others, I will ban them from this thread.
As for suggestions on how to improve your submission... the reason that I did not add your sun, is because I couldn't really tell it was a sun to be honest. I think that the colors need more definition from each other, because on my screen, when tilted slightly it all runs into the same shade of yellow. So it looks like a yellow square with a face in it, and the circle gets lost. So if you try making it look more defined as a sun, it might work out better.

Well, I don't like how everything is outlined in black. That's a taboo for me. Also, not a perfect circle. And it's supposed to be 100x100.
1, it's a common american thing. 2, all I have is GIMP and a mouse, you try making a perfect circle. 3, it's easily resized, and the last armatar contests said it just needed to be easily resized to 100x100.
Your spring armatar is okay, seems a little.....queer. I'm not a fan of queer (I'm talking in context to happy and bright).
