So basically homeland security sent out a memo to all branches of law enforcement in all states, and it basically said that the law enforcement needs to watch and be careful of "right wing radicals" and people who "oppose things such as immigration and abortion". And then it said that the conservative talk show hosts and responsible for causing "right wing radicals" to be...right wing. So, basically it was saying watch out for Republicans because they don't like Obummer.
It also said "no one must put the state government before federal government".
What I am trying to get at is: I think we are very close to being a flat out communist country.
What are your thoughts on this memo. (
Excuse my spelling, I am using Chrome and it does not have spell check).
There's so much wrong with that post...First, source. Second, check your definition of communism. This isn't the Red Scare. I'll dissect this tomorrow when I'm not dying for sleep.
well here in Pittsburgh its a valid concern since a right wing radical that felt validated by these talk show hosts decided to grab his ak when police knocked on his door because of a domestic dispute and murder 3 cops
Sorry, i am not educated on Communism and different types of it.
When i say Communism i mean:
A corrupt government were the feds have control over the people and basically are rights are diminished to minuscule amounts.
Since I do not know the proper term for that, until i learn it i am calling it Communism. Don't have a cow.
@Deth. That is one man. For all we know he could have a mental disease or just be crazy. You cannot take a few small incidents and label millions of people.
@graham and Ric: You have absolutely no idea what communism is. The USSr was not communist, they were representative socialist. Graham, pure communism doesn't even have political parties. That post was epic misinformphail. -------- @Ric: That is not communism. Do some research. That would be like me calling capitalism a free money festival where rich people get to dive into a pool of dollars with a bucket and fill it with cash, then go home to buy 50,000$ caviar. Once again, epic misinformphail.

Geez, maybe pay a little more attention to my post. Your right, I am not right. I am just trying to think of a term to call what i am describing, do you have another term i could use? Because i will glady stop calling it Communism.
Plus, another point"
"Pure" Communism, is not what I am describing. But is it not true that people have perverted the term into what it mean to most people today?
I was paying attention. . .but why use the term anyway? The 'erversion' was simply propaganda during the red scare. Perhaps calling it oppresionist or something? Or totalitarianist.
Back to the OP's topic. At this point I'm not particularly inclined to believe the words of either side. Conservative myself, but I don't like the whole rabble over conservatives vs. liberals.
Well, if it weren't for all the confusion and terrible mistakes, I would reply with what I thought. However, this thread has failed. Badly. Maybe you should do a little work on the subject and try again.
I am just trying to think of a term to call what i am describing, do you have another term i could use? Because i will glady stop calling it Communism.
Use totalitarian instead of Communist. Largely thanks to Stalin and moreso the Cold War, Americans tend to confuse one for the other.

well lately the conservative talk show hosts have been spouting a kind of call to arms obviously not condoning violence but what do you expect to happen when you constantly say the fascist government is out to get you obviously the crazies and borderlines are gonna listen and take matters into their own hands and last time i checked about 19 percent of america has a mental illness and there's 300 million people in america so that's roughly 57 million that have a mental illness
