I just looked at 68, how fun! I just stared at it for 10 minutes deciding the best strategy. First I'll need more than 100 waves for a trillion. It takes longer to build offense with P/G primaries. Next the NE & SW dens have to go (after they've done their initial mana pruduction.) NE because too many wolves in the hen house SW because it'll make it easier to funnel monsters to beams. But I've got the cart before the horse. Let meget the waves up before I start thinking the pts round.

with 4 flash beams ive calced max score at 3q, assuming u can line up perfectly to reudce up to 100mx

If Java's binary base limit is 512, then why isn't it 511 waves? Why is it (supposedly) 510?

You would think there is some limit on monster HP or armor level, so you don't overload the engine and stuff, wouldn't you?

As for all the crazy stuff you guys are doing, I'm miles away from that. Haven't even gotten to the Gem of Eternity yet...

its all realy confusing, someone should just test it on endurance, ud need to have a mana farm and call out monsters to the point of about 8k-10k

Whoa there cowboy. Baby steps. It also technically difficult. I just tried to speed through to build waves and missed on the first two tries. I'm sort of piecemealing the ones Im in the mood for. So far 1 +70;4+0; 68+6; 73+20; 73+42. I'll try out some tier 5s if you find any good ones. To early to tell but um leaning towers 74 for ease of use. 68 s starting HP IS 15 lower and it's that number that determines the rest if the game. So while your scouting make a mental note of the first wave hp. If you run across a moderate track but it has a 68 starting hp it may still be 'the one'.

is anger shrine based on grade or damage of the gem

i had 600k mana, realy similar to his, and a grade 12 did 10k on all monsters but a grade 17 is about 8.5x higher dmg than a 12 being 5 grades hihger, so im thnking dmg of gem used may be a factor

I should proof these bufore I submit since there I STILL no edit button. That's supposed to be 74+42, and Karsten that should be good SCORE for only 47 waves, and it is.

do you mean you had grade 12 gem with 600k DMG that did 8.5x more dmg than a grade 17? I'm fuzzy on the scenario.

ok i had 10k on every monster, he had 85k, a 17 does olike 10x the dmg so it makes sense

did a test, 2300 dmg gem got 60k per monster or like a few monsters

4600 gem got 90k

im trying to calc the anger formula

i think part comes from dmg of gem part from mana, at 1 mana i cna still get a realy good ammount but higher i get about half more or 2x

also depends on # of mosnters

5 monsers at 46k

16 monsters at 24k, clearly better but idk what this does

the mininum was like 15k



crude formula is about 3x max dmg on all monsters + the total mana pool spread out

this means 1k monsters with a grade 17 dual gem of 28k max, get 84k, but the 600k max mana pool spread over 700 monsters is an additional 1k so my crude formula matches both mine and krastens attmpt, i think im fairly accurate

clearly with large # of monster your mana doesnt even matter a bit

so say 4k monsters, using one of your 100k gems does a toal of 1.2b dmg spread out, that 100k gem takes about 7 waves to do that much dmg if left

so anger shrine just use your big gems on it once all monsters are on the field

ill find a way to abuse it somehow

Here's my theory:

Givens - higher mana => higher dmg
- higher HP => higher dmg
- larger #monster lower dmg

theory

dmg to individual monst = [monstxHP/TotalHP] *[(1/2)*(avaIlable mana)]

totalHP=sum of all HP currently on screen

thus dmg to each monster is dependent on it's HP.

One more amulet to go. I just scored the amulet for activating 1,200 spell shrines. Now I only need to kill 19 more arcane guardians to score all the amulets available.

I'm getting there. I'm playing level 69. I need 44 more battles on 69 and higher to finish all levels all modes. I will have done that before I fight some levels with arcane monsters a few extra times to get the final amulet. I hope there is a prize! Not holding my breath though.
