hmm a strange path

a flash beam shrine, 1 charge so used for your super agner wave

i am told this is not a wave 512 attempt map, primarily for score

there is also a 2 charge flash beam shrine

now scoring 1q is very difficul.....oh dear jesus we have jsut recieved a report there are giants in the are! this was not mentioned on the area summary! all giants wehre said to be extinct in this area yet they are clearly roaming freely and frequiently in sets of 4! which should have been pairs

Can only be done by cheating. The HP of the monsters increase exponentially. I've seen monsters with in excess of 4.8*10^21.

possible on bc. hp is only abuot 48b on lvl id 1 im assuming

The game is gone. It just hung on 151. Took 45 min to load and the screen moved about once every 4-5 min. I tried to save it by ending some other profs and it just unloaded. 13.302t. Last pic on 146, 12.6t. Biggest disappointment is that my two biggest waves had yet to score. Sigh. Idk. It's just not meant to be played the way I play it. There should be check points. It's such a small amount of data to store and recover it's sad that it's not been done. Oh well why should my tenth try be different than the other nine. 0/10 is a pretty solid data set. I'm still proud of my score. It should stand for a week or two.

I started working 74 last night. I speed played up to 89. Speed playbis kind of a misnomer because of the high HPs. I have to almost play every level. The initial point values are still disturbing but I'll get used to it. I'm going to need at least 200 waves to score mega pts. Also I'm going to have to learn the mega anger giants... They make up about 30-35% of the waves. Some good some bad. There's one stretch with 4 ot of 6 waves are giants. I played 87 for points just to get feel for it. It was loosy goosey effort. Ididnt keep any colors only missed purple and yellow but I'm going to need all colors to hue for mega wave. It can be any color, I've seen consecutive waves be 90 deg difference. The point game was mayhem with all the giants I never angered w/greater than grade 14. Oyeah 30b but like I said lazy effort. I'll try an organized effort at 125.

Btw, I'm not sure that 73 is not better because of the triple fb that lines up nicely with a straightaway. Side note: the fb gets wider with bigger gems so some track stretches that may not line up w/beam are still effected.

It's very different from GoE. I'm still experimenting w super gem to find best route. I've never had it so easy on the mana farm though. Ive got the postbig game blues so it's Annie lennox tonight. What lvls are th rest of the world playing? Allan still play ID 1?

well i see its started nicely, these checkpoints you speak of sound a bit like saving every time you beat it and moving up 2 waves =p the beauty of bc

im gonna try a variety of maps, i wont know for sure the best till i have all the maps towave 200 and some SOLID hp speculations based on the curv

the flash beam discovery sounds sweet, i truely wonder at what grade point it could hit every mosnter regardles, 25 or less would almsot be worth it to artificialy increase firepower by 1m times rather that cripple half to make it 2x stronger

allan is most likely lurking in the shadows and already at wave 260, ill soon have to challenge his wave if he doesnt post

munch, go ahead and try 73 i think it is better for high wave but it has no giants, im saying try 74 if you want to break 20t, for wave 1 4 and 73 still stand i say but id almost like it if u tried them all, more datapoints for me to use

If I get to 125 on each of those screens and do a points trial run on each at 125 I'll have avoid feel for where the points lay. We can take markers every 25 waves for each. That's a good enough spread between data pts and in four different cases to be able to reverse engineer the pts formula. I suspect a weighted exponential increase - [(wv1 pts)^(x*wv#)] - with a linear adjustment - [exp result]*{y*z*wv#} - where x&y are most likely fractional variables and z an unknown constant. Our samples are going to have to be of the same of monster type closest to the sample points.

I'm going to have dust off my linear algebra books :-) Not a regretable occurance. I usually wind up tackling a few problems for old times sake.

Do you have a list of the waves w/giants? Thanks. I've been saving every couple of waves to both GC and txt file, so if you want any of my wave work, let me know and I'll e-mail.

23 46 68 74 and tons of them in the 5th tier i thnk, like 4

im realy looking for hp curvs, might go every 10

i know lvl 1 curv basicly but i realy need others

OK, my last game on what I thought was going to be a terrible level, but turned out to be a lot of fun: Level 68 with only green and purple gems. This was the Beyond Corruption level.

I laid the entire track with a mixture of gr 11 P/R/O and gr 10 RO and then built an inventory of >32 grade 13 P/G gems to combine and use in the shrines. I also tried angering all the Giant waves but I didn't have enough gems, so not all of them got angered very well. I had most of them at somewhere between 300k and 600k HP.

I then created 2 grade 16 and one grade 17 gem from my R/G inventory. I used the grade 16s in the flash shrine and hte 16 in the Anger shrine.

Now on to the next level, but perhaps only tomorrow, since I'm now sick of GC. Some chess might be in order. Also need to go walk the dog. I've practically been sitting here playing GC for 6 hours.

great strategy, munch i think lvl id 68 is great for score like i said, 4 flash and an anger so it may be better

im gonna try to get

1 to 250

4 to 200

73 to 180

68 to 150

munch get to wave 100 on 68, wave 100 on 74 and try to go for score on each, you could probably take 2 days per game and break 1t on each just too see whats good

munch on yuor game with 13t at wae 151 did you at least use the 7 grade 7s on the socket before u ended it?

Finally...Thanksgiving break! A whole week with no school, which means I should be able to either beat all 228 waves of final level (without ANY speedhack or macro..), or demolish an extremely powerfull wave with flash beams before break is over. Hopefully both.

I've been saving my gemcraft stamina for this week, so I don't have a beyond corruption at so much as wave 90.
