My bad on lvl #71. It does have an anger shrine. just not a flash shrine. No giants in the waves though. But still, I had over 1,200 monsters and I killed about 1,000 of them with a grade 16 in an anger shrine. It is something to see when that anger shrine just melts away all the monsters walking around. Worth it just for entertainment.
I'll keep playing because I find it relaxing in a zen way. But probably same approach. I'll post anything that ranks as interesting... Or fun to see. I'm level 130 on id 50 and I'll stay committed to this for a while. I'll get 10t ironically around 200-210. Once I master the shrines this could triple. 100t is a pssibility but I won't rush it. Killing time until GC2.
I'm in the world of pain. 450M points (my max so far was 320ish) on the last level. Just waiting for the angered waves to finish exiting then going to finish level.

Sorry taps, good score though, and i bet you can be 800m on your next try.
Today's experiments: new shrine abuse. I made a lvl 15 gem that does 250k dmg/ monster in half the time it took me to build a lvl 19 for 165k dmg/ monster. With SGemming.
I tried increasing mpool w/shrine. Mana pool doubled from 1.8m to 3.6m (grade 18). Dmg per monster w/grade 19 went from 162k to 165k. No return here.
This led to mpool test at 0 and at 3.6m. When mpool at max 3.6m return 250k dmg/monster. When mpool at .15m (closest I could get to 0) return 246.5k dmg/monster.
Looks like the driving forces are hp on screen and dmg in gem for anger shrine.
Trivial discoveries:
Two flashes are way better than1. Board can easily be divided in two but not 1.
I discovered that I can make a lvl 16 in tray. I could do 17 but it calls for too many extra tray where 16 only needs 1.
I have lots of pretty pics w/shrines use. I'll post toworrow. Some are informative.
I was wondering if I could get some help on this level.
It's Level ID #26. I cannot beat bleeding edge, carapace, or Arcane on it. I'm lvl 87 with the following skills: Enhanced Pool (10), Focus (10), Flexible Pool (6), Mana Mastery (9), TowerBuilding (9), Armor (6), Dual Mastery (10), Readiness (6), Replenish (10), Forge (10), Radiance (10), Recharge (10), Turbulance (10), Resonance (10)
Can someone give me tips? I find Mana Mastery less useful now. I've gotten to Lvl 36 & 37 but I wanted to go back and complete every stage before continuing, but this level is giving me the most trouble. Any help would be appreciated
Tell me how many skill points you have and I will try to emulate your level and see what might be the problem.
Otherwise, simply create 2 or 3 grade 4 Red/orange gems and place them in the traps available.
Keep from your inventory an orange gem to transmute more orange gems and build up (supergem) the mana and firing power of your R/O gems until they fire at 533 and earn 10.1 mana/hit. After that you should have no problems.
For extra refinement, you can also keep a purple gem in inventory and then create R/O/P gems to strip away armor of the monsters.
A critically important part of the strategy is to anger all the waves, even in carapace mode you have to anger each wave at least twice so you can earn a lot of nama off hitting them and there are more.

Ugh, I don't know what was up with that double post. My apologies. I had an old Wizard level level 68 and I tried the Caprapace mode with that. Took a few tries but I got it beat.
Here is my skills allocation (the extra 17 points are what I got from winning at the Carapace level)
With this I saved the purple gem (but never used it) and created a grade 4 and grade 3 R/O gem. I angered the first 3 levels by one bomb each and created as many orange gems as I could. I stashed one orange gem as seed and upgraded the grade 4 R/O gem as much as I could and put it near the main entrance for monsters.
THe other one I put in the already existing trap. As mana permitted, I created more orange or red gems by saving the reds and bombing all other colors to transmute them to orange. Then I upgraded either of the gems. When mana permitted I upgraded the mana pool, angered more waves and created a few more R/O gems.

Then unfortunately I lost my orange seed gem and had to fall back to creating a Red/Yellow gem to finish off the last few waves.

SO I ended up with a not fantastic score, but at least I won it.
I've been reading about mana farming and supergemming, but I cannot get the hang of it. The only videos on youtube about it move too fast for me to see what they do.
I attempted several times to mana farm on endurance levels (lvl 1, lvl 16) but I either didn't mana farm enough, or my gems were inefficient on killing the mobs after round 40, and angering giant monsters more than 3 times = got me owned (on youtube, a guy angered it like 15 times lol)
I did, however, manage to complete all but Arcane on #26, but I cannot beat it lol.
Anyways, I'm lvl 90 with 445 skill points. At about 1st Arcane Guardian, I learned of dual-gem masteries (before used pure gems only with the skill) and that made it 10x easier, but now as I try to complete the different challenges of each stage, I can't beat them. Before, Grade 3 dual gems worked just fine (upgrading to the max gem I could for arcane lvls), with adding no more than 3 lower grade gems to it. I know now that you keep doing it to add more power but until I read this, I only assumed it was a waste as I noticed the stats increased less and less lol.
Anyways, I'm up to level 37-39, but I had stopped and gone back to complete all challenges in other levels. I just wish there was an accurate video that shows you how to mana farm and all =(
