Lankhr, Tasselfoot was one of the earlier players who doesn't play to extreme, and it's possible that no extreme was discovered at that time. And walkthrough is a something to show how to win, no extremes to be shown in there. So you will beat him by a mile if he won't play like extremals like us do.
I was just saying that MAYBE Tass would be good competition since Tass is prety much the walkhrough video person on AG so he/she should be good at the games...
Hey guys, I'm making something that might help you choose the next level to play for a high score.
When you want to choose a level, yo actually have to play it to see its layout and possibly gems you get at startup. This takes some time, and you may need to adjust your skills again.
So, here's a small application - Gemcraft Zero Repository.
It shows how the level looks like, what gems can be created in it, what gems are given at startup (if any), modes with 3x Exp growth and if there's a lost amulet on that level.
The lost amulet and startup gems are not ready yet. Also, for now only the levels from the first part (up to lvl 16) are available. I'd like to hear from you, if you'll find it usefull. Then I'll continue the development.
He custom made it. Well it appears that way. Considering it is just a pictue of the map and a panel of gems(which must be custom made because I haven't seen it ANYWHERE else.)and Lost Amulet info.

Lankhr, first I'm sorry about the anger shrine, I have no experience in using it yet, so I can't advise a thing about it. I think it should be useful if it does something with monsters... I've heard it can kill monsters in the battlefield.

random_player_of_ag, well level 8 is too early for any serious distribution... I expect you can't yet get orange mastery, so you might find it useful to get yellow mastery first level, and the rest you might distribute evenly between focus, tower builder and flexible pool... this is not yet the time to run anything harder, and it's certainly not the time to go mass traps.
hehe hard to write a review on this because there are few or no errors/glitches... well one thing that bothers me: if you lay a level on a certain mode which gives ALOT of experience points, after laying it 5-7 times, it doesnt gives exp anymore... i have proof on this: look at the highscores, the highes ones all have the same score, they cant level up anymore because the game won't give more exp! and... the level code system isn't that great neither... now, there's a constant spam on some player's account for their level code... Also, the endurance exp is VERY low for what you do, at wave 100 of level 78, the swarm monsters have an armor level à f 10 and hp of 10000+ and they come in numbers of 40/ wave. but that's the onliest thing i can say bad about the game. the concet of this game is just awesome... imagine what it takes to program the colors and mixes + hues of gems WOW! great job of GameInABottle.. the ontro where the gems go into the bottle could be higher quality though... also, some skills are comletely useless in the game like prismatic mastery, there are only about 10 levels where all gems are available ... gem bombing isnt really necessary because, like endurance, a lvl 12, yes LVL 12 gem doesnt kill 1 armored monster... and orange gem mana gain s RIDICULOUS! example: at level 78, i have about 36 traps with lvl 4 oranges in them, + 100,000 max mp = mana gain x 3.4... a monster produces the triple man it costs to banish ,just by passing the line, it's better to let a monster get through than killing it, i bombed all of my grade 8 gems (like 40 or so) so nothing touched the monsters excet fro traps... and my mana gain doubled. so that's kindof it. Graphics: 9.5/10 alot of monsters are the same, and giants are normals size x4.. nicely covered up by use of colors. Sound: 8.5/10 well, if you play the game long enough, it suddenly stops so.. must be atched sometime. Concept 10/10 Controls 10/10 Hotkeys make sense: M for Mana Pool... Recommended for anyone loving TD's, Strategie's... tips: delet code system... not really hard to hack the code... it's plain Blowfish for they that not know.. i can easily get a lvl 999 account.. but i'm not gonna do that, ruins all the fun BTW... the lost amulets are GORGEOUS!!!! lease kee making them!!!!! -Thanks for reading!
