two new picture updates: http://tinypic.com/r/2199ulx/3 http://tinypic.com/r/90d3bm/3
I've angered wave 153 with a grade 16; I may decide to chuck a low grade (1-5) gem at it as well. the rest are angered with a grade 6, some with a low grade for a second gem.
still pretty slow due to lag, but I think i'll be able to finish most of the wave 126 monsters before wave 200.
amazing, it would help tons if you could mow them down before wave 153 allowing you to anger that more but yea im rooting for you, 52b score and prolly 60b+ after u finish off the 126 ones i think you could make it to wave 200 and get 100b score, keep the updates and pics coming im loving this, oh and a 78 multiplyer!?! ull get 100 i bet
This game is getting to where it's really not fun. I'm at Level 29 and have 62,708 total exp. Check my post on page 82 to see what I'm having an impossible time beating regarding certain levels (still can't). Let me give you where I've put my points, maybe that's my problem. Currently, Enhanced Pool is lvl 10, Focus - lvl 7, Tower Build - lvl 4, Mana Gain Mastery - lvl 6, Poison Mastery - lvl 2, Replenish - lvl 6, and Forge - lvl 6. The original Gemcraft was a royal pain until you beat the first Archane Boss, but wasn't bad after that...this is getting to the point where no matter what I try, nothing works. Any help would be much appreciated.
i think a good general tip is master mana and try and mana farm by puttin traps near the enemies start etc...... i completed and hit like lvl 84 doin that
OK, I removed the exp. I had in Poison Mastery and put it in the orange gem mastery, I have that fairly high. The biggest problem I'm having is that I can't get enough "decent" tower gems (level 4 or 5) to cope with the swarm waves. I generally have put at least 2 traps with lev. 3 orange gems in the main "runway", but can't get enough generated before I run out of points and end up getting clobbered by the swarm waves. When you just can't seem to go any further in a game, it gets "old" real quick, and I'm just about at the point that I'll say the heck with it and play something else.
jimmie, pull your points out of enhanced pool, put them somewhere else (like focus, flexible pool, mana gain), and don't forget to replay old levels for extra exp.
perhaps you could take a break, and come back-the subconscious can think up strategies while you're away.
fractal hows your game going so far, im doing insanely good, i got over 5b xp on wave 66 and going to try to tie your 13b xp on wave 90 then chase you down and try to meet you at wave 200 using your tips then we share any pics and advice at that point adn hope one or both succeeds =]
unfortunately, I have no real idea how many grade 16's and 15's I have, and with the lag I've got, it's unlikely I'll be able to get an accurate count. Still, I'm fairly sure I have enough of them to make a grade 20 without using my 1 grade 18 and my 3 grade 17's.
just so you know, the multiplier increases at a linear rate after a certain point.
if you puase game you can download cheat engine 5.5, idk what it realy is but it has a slow game option, its not cheating because it gives no extra mana lvls or firepower it just slows your internet enough so you have enough reactiont time, you can set speed to 0 and count gems and even craft gems if the mana gets overwhelming, give it a try cuz id love to see someone beat 228 plus you could also count gems
I don't get it. If I send the monsters around so many times, they grow in their mana cost, yet you guys seem to be able to send the monsters around indefinitely.
What are you doing different than me?
I'm going to try playing this on a desktop computer with a real mouse to see if I get better control of things. My wrist is starting to have a constant pain in it from manipulating this trackpoint on my ThinkPad.
...well, right now, I'M not letting any monsters make a second lap (a prismatic mana farm helps, when all gem colors are available, but only above grade 8 or so)...it's just a question of not letting them make so many laps their banishment cost gets larger than the amount earned by their trip through the mana farm.
