You know how on the side panel near your armatar it will say how many posts you've made. Wouldn't it be cool and convenient if it said how many topics you've made? Just thought that would be a nice little addition.

I don't know why anyone would want to know how many topics they've made.

Not in the forums, although it would be nice to have a 'Pazx has created 21 threads. Click here to view all threads created by Pazx' on your profile.

Then again, more coding... Moar work...

Isn't everything more coding and more work?

I don't know why anyone would want to know how many topics they've made.

It would be the same thing you would say if there wasn't the feature that you could see the posts
that people had and they suggested it. We really don't care, but it's there anyways....

At least I would want this.... it counts the number of threads you want, with the added idea of
listing the threads you made so you could look at them faster, like Howlett just said.

Really though? Posting in a thread just to say it's an epic fail and deserves to be thrown in
flames counts as a spam reply, Person Whom I Won't Say.... and I see this plenty of times. If you're
going to criticize an idea, provide your opinion on it, give proper arguments to back it up, just
be constructive about it. This is about improving the site, not attacking whatever comes out
a person's head and leaving.

No it wouldn't. Post count denotes activity. Thread count doesn't mean anything.

I didn't say that you didn't say what I said (oh, the controversy). I was saying that it would be nice on your profile, not in the forums.

Same could be said for threads too ; people make threads, it means they are interested in the forums
and the community, and are active in it.

Thread count connotes activity. One could have zero threads and a billion posts. Does it mean they're not active? A less likely scenario: a billion threads and a billion posts. Does it mean they're active?

Yes XD

That could be said for threads as well.. Just means they are really active into the comunity. Like Shintesu said.

Making a whole metric tonne of threads might mean you are active in one sense, but it does not mean you are being useful.

I could make 5 threads a day in 5 different forum sections. Each one could be mundande and overall useless. They would quickly pass off of the front page.
Next day, I repeat the process.
And the next.
And the next.

I could get well over a hundred topics in a month. But it does not mean I am a good member or even really active.

Myself, I think I've made maybe 10 threads since I have been here(not counting rules and such for forum sections). Ten threads in a year.

Does that make me not cool? Am I not active? Because...last time I checked, I was kinda here and doing stuff and part of the community.

Por supuesto, significa que usted no está fresco.

It would be nice to see it, but it doesn't really mean anything.

I would be interested! And it would be nice to know what threads I wrote in the past and how many I have locked (Quite a few!). Then again, more coding, and Armorgames is going through enough at the moment. But as ShintetsuWA(copy pasted that) said:

Isn't everything more coding and more work?

So the idea could be added.
